On November 26, 2020, Princess Benedikte took part in an online meeting of the Girl Scouts Council (Pigespejdernes Fællesråd)from Christian VIII's Palace at Amalienborg. The Princess was chair at the meeting, where, among other things, action plans were discussed with input from the Danish Scout Corps. Upcoming activities of the world scout organization WAGGGS were also discussed.
Princess Benedikte took over the chair of the Girl Scouts Council after her mother, Queen Ingrid, who was chair from 1939 to 1965. The Girl Scouts Council is an umbrella organization for girl scouts in Denmark, which embraces representatives of organizations such as the Danish Scout Corps, the Danish Baptist Scout Corps and the Green Girl Scouts.
Wish there were other photos of Princess Benedikte.
ReplyDeleteAlways a joy to see her.
She looks nicely snugged up in her blue jumper and working next to the radiator.
Looks like she has a nice view of the courtyard from her window.
I agree with you, deadeggs. She seems to be a very classy yet down to earth lady. Would like to see more photos of her and the work she does.

DeleteMême devant son écran, la princesse a su harmoniser son pull bleu pâle avec un mignon petit foulard ; elle a toujours beaucoup d'allure !
ReplyDeleteI think the foulard (scarf) that Princess Benedikte is wearing is part of the Scout's uniform ........ I think?
