Grand Duchess Maria Teresa released a video message on the occasion of Orange Week 2020
Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg released a video message on November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The global campaign Orange Week 2020 was started officially on this International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
The Orange Week is organized by the Ministry of Equality and the Luxembourg section of Zonta International. It aims to raise awareness and take action for the purpose of ending violence against women and girls.
What happened to her face ? Looks burnt. The second photo taken at a wrong moment.
ReplyDeleteI agree that she looks sun-burned. It doesn’t look artificial to me, as though from makeup — more like being a little too long at the beach. At any rate, I marvel at how young-looking she is for her age.
DeleteShe is from Cuba so she must know the sun, they very rare sun-burnt. The high society there do not go to the beach, they do not like to be burnt.
DeleteHello, Anonymous at 11:49. I wasn’t actually suggesting that Maria Teresa has been spending time at the beach, but the fact is that she looks sunburned. Perhaps she has been getting treatments of some kind, or has a condition that causes her skin to look this way. Makeup could be an explanation, but if Cuban ladies don’t like to look sunburned it is puzzling why Maria Teresa would choose this shade of makeup. I think she looks quite young and cute here, regardless :-).
DeleteI just wonder why such a beautiful woman needs heavy make- up which does nothing for her.
ReplyDeleteShe would look better with longer hair (IMO).
I agreeeee!
DeleteCan hardly recognize her with the lighter hair.
ReplyDeleteIl me semble qu'elle porte une longue tunique dont la couleur la flatte beaucoup ; le soleil de Biarritz ? ne l'avantage pas du tout - Coupe courte avec de jolies mèches !
ReplyDeleteLooks like way too much mascara (or false lashes) and way too much concealer that's way too light for her skin color! With that said, I think she is a very good looking woman--not cookie cutter at all.
ReplyDeletesorry, disagree - this hair cut takes year of her - yes I would like less make-up
ReplyDeleteI think she misunderstood the meaning of Orange Week!
ReplyDeleteI was drinking my chocolate when I read your comment and couldn't contain my laughter . I don't think it's make up. I think too much time in tanning bed or too much tanning lotion as neck chest area also burnt appearing. ..
DeleteI had to chuckle, the headline said Orange Week, and she looks so "orange" or rather sun burnt in the photos. Makeup is way too heavy.
ReplyDeleteMe too. Or she uses the same make-up artist as Donald Trump!
Delete@9:49 It was my exact thought, but I didn't want to be the one to mention it. Like the Trumpster, the only thing that is orange is the face. The hands are not matching the color of the face, and they would naturally be as dark as the face, if not darker. Maybe it was a heavy hand with the faux tanner and it will wear off in a few days.
DeleteGrand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg is looking a bit tired. Hope she stays/is healthy!
ReplyDeleteJust a huge no on the fake orange tan. The green quilted jacket is nice, it's just that orange is all I can look at.
ReplyDeleteChel
It almost looks like she's been in a tanning book too long.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt any longer that she had a nose job done last year...
