Crown Princess Mary handed out the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize 2020 at Charlottenborg Exhibition Hall in Copenhagen. The Prize aims to find and promote the Danish fashion designers of the future. In the selection of the winner of the main prize of DKK 200,000, the 14 members of the jury place emphasis on a portfolio that is characterized by sustainability and ethical responsibility, as well as business ideas, innovation and originality in design.
The Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize was launched in 2012 by the Magasin du Nord Foundation. The Prize is Denmark’s biggest award for new fashion talents and this year, it was awarded for the eighth time. It is open to Danish citizens who have designed and produced at least one ready-to-wear collection, women’s or menswear.

That's the future of Danish fashion designers? Oh dear. ~Laurel~
ReplyDeleteDanish fashion for those who like it! not for everyone or any occasion! It can occasionally be nice, refreshing while being retro.
DeleteCP Mary looks lovely here, I love her colors and her look here is much better to me than the previous outing. It does feel more early spring outfit than fall. I am also on the fence about the sleeve situation (longer 3/4 length coat sleeve maybe), but I also think that look is a good fit for the event.

Exactly my thoughts!
DeleteI wish her sweater was more of a cream, like the color of her pants to give it a solid look under the coat. I love the coat, it has a fun, festive feel, perfect for the occasion. Beautiful, simple accessories.

Mary looks so radiant and polished, but I'm not a fan of the Jimi jacket.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the outfit that the blond lady to the left is wearing. That is for once something I would wear myself. For information Cecilie Bahnsen, the prize winner, also received one of the Crown Prince Couple's awards a few years ago. For the award evening the designer had created the dress that Mary was wearing. It was lavender blue and did not suit Mary, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteSuperbe manteau mais son mignon petit pull serait beaucoup mieux de couleur rouille ainsi que le pantalon. Avec les escarpins Prada nude, le look aurait été parfait !
ReplyDeleteI like the whole outfit. Short sleeves gives it a nice vibe. Very fresh look. -Siri
ReplyDeleteUhm...Danish fashion...
ReplyDeleteLuckily Mary is also wearing international brands like Zara and Prada.
I like P. Mary’s outfit!
ReplyDeleteLike the outfit overall but would prefer longer sleeves on the coat. Personally, I think the frilly skirts worn by the other two ladies are awful.
