The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met with the Australian business owners and emergency service workers from Kangaroo Island. The Duke and Duchess received information from them about the impact of bushfires that broke out in January 2020 on the locals, wildlife and economy of the island. During the conversation, the Duke and Duchess praised the efforts of all people who had worked to minimize the spread of the fire and protect the island’s locals.
The bushfires caused the loss of thousands of animals and widespread damage to their habitats on Kangaroo Island, which is one of Australia’s most important wildlife sanctuaries. About 48% of Kangaroo Island was affected by bushfires over the course of several weeks. Two people died because of the fire and houses and livelihoods of the locals were severely damaged.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hear about impact of Australian bushfires.
Yellow looks like a good colour for Catherine; cannot see enough of the dress to make an option of it.
ReplyDeleteshe wore this to Wimbledon 2018. lovely simple summer dress
Deletemiss W
I agree, I t’s a great color on her. If you look back at her previously wearing it at Wimbledon- it’s a great dress and she looked amazing in it.

Agree, I would like to see more of this dress - I am sure she looks wonderful. I first thought it is her "banana-dress", but it is different.
Deletenot impressed by this woman ever, no fashion sense whatsoever!!
ReplyDeleteA pity for you!
DeleteImo she has great taste!
That seems a little harsh ! Retail outlets and fashion houses a like, would disagree with you ! They call it 'the Kate effect' ! Ana
DeleteShe's a princess not a top model. Fashion does not mean sense of style !
DeleteThen you can stop commenting under posts about her if you're not impressed by her because I'm sure she would care less what you say about her anyway.
DeleteAre you a fan of a certain someone?, thus you're dissing her. To others her dress sense is just fine. And I'm sure she's not too worried about your impression of her .
Delete@Juice, Tell us how you really feel! ;-)
DeleteThe lack of impression imo, comes from the lack of substance. She does have a sense of style, if you look at her premarriage days. Yet, once married, she consistently fails to impress because, as Yves Saint Laurent said "the most important thing in a dress is the woman, who is wearing it."
DeleteWhat???
DeleteJealous?
DeleteClaptrap!
DeleteJuice- Same here...:)
DeleteJuice, The way I was brought is that if you can't say anything nice do not say anything at all!!!
DeleteThen why did you bother to look at this page and comment?
DeleteJuice, do me, do us all a favor, google her outfits, through the years, look at her beautiful outfits, when she attend a church service. Google her stunning Jenny Packham evening gowns! The 2 "bottle" greens, the blush pink, with sequins, etc etc. My my show stopping! And through the years, there were always rumors, that this royal lady, or that one, dress the same way.
DeleteJuice, do you remember, in the past, when she dazzled, in like a bespoke outfit, the next day, you will read on social media, similar dresses were sold out in a day or so. And you're saying, she has no sense of fashion!
What a gorgeous colour on Kate. Loved this dress, when she worn it at Wimbledon. Her hair is truly her crown and glory. Ana
ReplyDeleteCouleur jaune qui va à ravir à Kate ; avec sa couleur de cheveux, c'est un ravissement. J'aimerais quand même voir toute sa silhouette pour mieux apprécier !

ReplyDeleteWhat a pity that we cannot see the whole dress. The Duchess in a slim shift dress is a match made in heaven. (-Ann.)
ReplyDeleteAre you a bit jealous Juice? She looks great.
ReplyDeleteIs this the dress Catherine wore on a tour of Australia and NZ? It kind of looks familiar. Anyway, love the bright punchy colour and the sleek tailoring. Hair is looking in good condition.
ReplyDeleteNo this is the yellow Dolce & Gabbana dress she wore to Wimbledon in 2018. The yellow dress she wore in Australia was from Roksanda.
Delete@Anon 05:43, "she consistently fails to impress " - here you forgot an essential word. She fails to impress *you*. - The Australia dress had a white detail and simple short sleeves. (-Ann.)
ReplyDeleteWonderful colour on Kate. Looks much better on a brunette than on the blonde model. Lovely dress as well - minus the exposed zip.
ReplyDeleteCatherine looks exquisite. Her smooth, softly-waved hairstyle frames her face beautifully, and the dress's neckline, subtly shaped sleeves, and pale, lemony shade are extremely becoming to her.
ReplyDeleteI think this dress, in various colors, would also look amazing on Queen Letizia, Crown Princess Mary, or Princess Marie.
Difficult colour to wear well but goes wonderfully with the Duchess’s dark hair
ReplyDeleteI'm in general not a fan of D&G, but this color and style looks great on her. The flutter type sleeve is feminine and flattering, and the yellow looks pretty against her dark hair.
ReplyDeleteChel
Love this colour on Kate .
ReplyDeleteIt makes a lovely contrast with her dark waved hair.
So nice to see the Cambridges again.
Dolce and Gabbana never fail!
