Queen Sonja and Crown Prince Haakon held a lunch for Norway’s health authorities
Crown Prince Regent Haakon and Queen Sonja received Norway’s health authorities at the Royal Palace in Oslo. The royals invited them to lunch to thank them for their ongoing work during the pandemic. The Crown Prince thanked the health authorities and the entire Norwegian health service for the enormous work that has been done since the start of the pandemic in Norway.
Nine people attended the event. The Norwegian health authorities were represented by Minister of Health Bent Høie, Director of Health Bjørn Guldvog, Director of Public Health Camilla Stoltenberg, Global Health Ambassador John-Arne Røttingen and Ministerial Councillor Bjørn-Inge Larsen.
Beautifull designed and colored shawl on a “ simple” grey dress; Haakon as ever well dressed, and look at the flowers on the table! Wow!
ReplyDeleteLovely fall outfit, very nice for the occasion. I hope the King is doing well.
ReplyDeleteHear, hear - they have done great work and continue to do so. Love Queen Sonja's scarf!
ReplyDeleteAs always, Queen Sonja is lovely. Her smile in the first picture lights up the room. Her dress, with the scarf, is very pretty. CP Haakon, is exceedingly handsome, even though his jacket appears to be a bit snug. I miss King Harald and I hope he is not seriously ill.
ReplyDeleteHave you even heard of slim fit? The Crown Prince Regent's jacket is a perfect fit for him.
DeleteI agree with Debra - the jacket is way too tight, it doesn´t fit him at all, looks like he´s had it in his wardrobe since he was 14. It pulls around his belly, his sleeves are stuck on his arms because they are too tight to slide down naturally, the whole jacket is too short, especially in the back. It clearly got pushed up as he leaned on the chair and it got stuck in that position. Not a good look. And - I wonder why he insists with those double-breasted jackets, especially for a dinner. A single-breasted jacket could have been worn unbuttoned while sitting which would have offered more comfort for a meal as well.
DeleteHaakon is a good-looking man that comes across as very likeable, but fashion-wise he has never impressed me. No elegance, no style, no sense of what suits and fits him. His posture could be better, too. And his blue sports watch is another eye-sore.
I know slim fit is fashionable but in my opinion, some slim fit items are taking it too far, such as this one. Next time, ask your mum if the jacket fits you before the event, Haakon ;-)
DeleteThe Queen looks so elegant, I love the silk printed scarf, beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I especially like the beautiful scarf. Yhe Queen is elegant and beautiful as always. the Crownprince Regent is handsome too.
DeleteQueen Sonia as elegant as ever. What is the current news on King Harald's health?
ReplyDeleteKing Harald's sick leave ended today, so he's good to go and start working again! :)
DeleteI do hope that King Harald has a good recovery. I miss to se him out and about! The Queen and the Crown Prince Regent are doing well though!
DeleteThe King is back on duty from November 1. So he's back to normal.
