Queen Mathilde held a video conference with the winners of the 2020 Baillet Latour Prize
Queen Mathilde held a video conference with the two winners of the 2020 Baillet Latour Prize, Prof. Andrew T. Hattersley and Prof. Sarah-Maria Fendt. Professor Andrew T. Hattersley was awarded the prize for his fundamental discoveries about the genetic forms of diabetes. Professor Sarah-Maria Fendt was awarded the Grant For Medical Research 2020 for her research into the formation of cancer metastases.
The Latour Health Prize was established in 1977 to be awarded periodically to recognize the merit of a person whose work has contributed prominently to the improvement of human health in the fields of metabolic disorders, infectious diseases, neurological diseases, cancer and cardiovascular disease. Since 2000, the prize has been awarded annually and is Belgium's major scientific prize. The prizes will be presented at the end of the year in a virtual ceremony.
J'ai remarqué que Mathilde portait un chemisier d'un vert très lumineux qui lui va à merveille ; nous pouvons penser qu'elle le porte avec une jupe ?! J'aime bien le style de ses petites lunettes !
ReplyDeleteNow this is the typically elegant Queen we are used to seeing, not the same as in the photos with all the pink and mauve and a shiny face that also had shades of pink. Yes they are the same woman, but she usually does not make mistakes with fashion, or colors. Lovely woman.
ReplyDeleteI love Mathilde in green, she looks so beautiful in jewel tones.

Is that not the same blouse she wore with the gray slacks earlier in October? Back then it was Gucci and now it's Caroline Herrera. On the previous one the cuffs button downward and on this one upward. Or am I mixed up. ~Laurel~
ReplyDeleteSorry, I guess she's wearing it backwards? ~Laurel~
DeleteI thought it was the same blouse as well.
DeleteI think it is the same (October 12, 2020) worn differently.
DeleteLovely blouse in a beautiful shade. She looks great.
