Queen Margrethe II of Denmark received Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis

On October 16, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark received Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis in Christian IX’s Palace at Amalienborg in Copenhagen. Official diplomatic relations have existed between Switzerland and Denmark since 1920. The official visit of Ignazio Cassis to Copenhagen is made on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the start of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and Denmark.

  2. Margrethe looks lovely. This is the type of outfit I would like to see on Camilla. By buttoning just the center button she has given herself a beautiful silhouette. Camilla would be creating the look of a waist of she used tricks like this. Margrethe looks very stylish!

    1. Yes, Margrethe looks good for her age and has a nice slim figure. Camilla, on the other hand, is a lot heavier and perhaps feels the looser styles suit her better. I like the color and style of Margrethe's outfit. I hope her back isn't bothering her too much. ~Laurel~

  3. Style, cut, colour ........... perfection.
    I've looked and looked again and still come to the conclusion of ......... perfection.

    I understand that in popularity surveys, Queen Margrethe has a higher score rating than her cousin Elizabeth in England.
    But then, maybe it's the Danes who organised these surverys :-))

    For two Queens who rein over just two small peices of land on this planet, they certainly are leaving an outstanding mark in history.
