Princess Benedikte of Denmark attended the celebration of the 275th anniversary of the Danish Order of Freemasons in Copenhagen. The Danish Order of Freemasons has 90 Lodges all of which are working according to the rituals of the Swedish Rite. All of these lodges require members be christened in the Christian faith. There are about 7,500 members of the Danish Order of Freemasons.
Freemasonry in Denmark was first established in 1743. Today, freemasonry is represented by the Grand Lodges. The oldest and biggest Masonic Grand Lodge in Denmark is the Danish Order of Freemasons (Danish: Den Danske Frimurerorden), in English also known as the Grand Lodge of Denmark. The Danish Order of Freemasons is situated on Blegdamsvej in the Østerbro region in Copenhagen.
Perfect in every way: colour, model and elegance.

As always the epitome of elegance. A lovely, beautifully cut, dress in this season's popular colour.
ReplyDeleteAgain, the Queen of Class get 10,5 out of 10 from me.

Indeed!
DeletePrincess Benedikte is always beautiful. I love the color of her dress and her pearls. The brooch/pin is a bit awkward, I think, and does not enhance her appearance. Perhaps it is an emblem associated with Free Masonry. Also, I'm wondering why she chose light colored gloves rather than black (navy?) which would have matched her shoes.
ReplyDeleteMaybe because she wanted to keep the gloves on indoors? Just an idea. Because black indoors might look awkward. - She looks fabulous. And as she clearly demonstrates: wearing a figure hugging dress is not a question of age (appropriateness) ... Lovely color, too. (-Ann.)
DeleteOh, I love the color. Timeless and elegant look.

This is a Masterclass in style, design and classic elegance. Benedicte hits it out of the ball park! Fabulous.

In my crystal ball, I see Princess Mary, in her maturing years, taking on a look of class such as we see with Princess Benedikte.
ReplyDeleteThird outfit in this rich purple this week. Have to say that Princess Benedikte's dress comes well ahead of the outfits pf Crown Princesses Mary and Victoria (even though their outfits were nice enough) Dress is simple and classy. Just lovely
ReplyDeleteA classic outfit, but as usual Princess Benedikte takes it to a whole new level of style and elegance.
ReplyDeletePour se distraire de ces personnages aux mines patibulaires , elle a endossé une robe violette.

sooooooooooooooooo fantastic! unbelievable elegant, beautiful, so much style! Great colour of the dress!!
ReplyDeleteWish we could have seen the pin up close. Photo #7, her eye makeup looks a little harsh, wonder why the lighting was different. Elegant, classic, lovely.
ReplyDeleteFreemasonry shouldn’t be endorsed.
ReplyDeleteI could not agree with you more nothing less than the Antichrist
DeleteAgreed. I'm sorry to see the lovely Benedikte caught up in this.
DeleteQuelle silhouette pour une dame de son âge.. La princesse sait toujours se vêtir avec beaucoup de goût en portant ce très joli collier de grosses perles !
