On Monday 5 October 2020, Crown Princess Mette-Marit met with the author Geir Gulliksen for a conversation about his latest novel "Bli snill igjen" at Deichman in Bjørvika, Oslo. Deichman was founded in 1785 and is Norway’s oldest and largest public library. Geir Gulliksen is a Norwegian poet, novelist, playwright, children's writer, essayist and publisher. Gulliksen is the chief editor for the publishing house Forlaget Oktober. In 2008, he was awarded the Mads Wiel Nygaard's Endowment. Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore a birds-flying print midi dress by Pia Tjelta.

MM is looking lovely. The dress fits well and the jacket/blazer is tailored to fit her beautifully. The over all look with the shoes is just fine. I'm very happy for MM!
ReplyDelete(Haakon also looks quite sporty, but very uncomfortable - the blazer is far too small given the snug fit, sleeves 2 inches too short and zero tail length. High time for a new, better fitting one.)

DeleteI really like this dress. The print and style are very cute. I like it better without the blazer. I it looks very flattering on her. The clear glasses are perfect! I would rather see her in black shoes.
ReplyDeleteI agree with all you have said I think she looks very nice with those spectacle frames. I must agree too with whoever said the prince's sports coat is too small. Perhaps a mild case of corona kilo's or it landed in the washing machine while no one was looking.

Délicieuse Mette-Marit dans cette robe imprimée ; elle a l'air très heureuse. J'aime beaucoup ses lunettes. Ce n'est pas souvent que nous la voyons avec des escarpins, elle a de très jolies jambes ! Oh, j'oubliais le prince Haakon qui est de plus en plus beau !

ReplyDeleteDress is lovely. Don't know if it's the glasses but in the third photo I could see a strong resemblance to Prince Sverrre Magnus. I've not seen him especially like either parent until now.
