  1. Why don't we ever see Crown Prince Frederik? All activities seem to be executed by Princess Benedikte and Crown Princess Mary.

    1. They are IMO much more representable, he is always badly dressed and nonchalant.

    2. I'm not sure of the answer to your question but today Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark visited the Food Nation Visitor Centre in Aarhus. He also handed out the P4G Partnership Awards 2020.

    3. This blog doesn't follow Frederik's activities when he is not with Mary probably because he is not a fashion notable, and this blog is about fashion, which is best exemplified in the female Royals. That doesn't mean he's not performing duties..far from it. Subscribe to their social media and you'll see all the things both of them are doing which are not being reported here. Same with the Dutch Royals. They are all busy people. They don't attend events together because there are so many events that it's best to split up to cover them all.

    1. That is what I wanted to point out as well. Frederick's style is ok! A bit more relaxed style than his royal colleagues in the same age category; that is part of his attractiveness. I am sure it makes him closer to the population than a classic formal style.

    2. I agree MaryT. As times change and the role that royalty plays changes with each generation, it becomes more and more important that they are relatable to their people. The easiest way to do that is with their appearance.

  3. I think Frederick is just as active as his wife but on a blog devoted to fashion we have more interest in the female members of the family. That is why we see more here of Camilla although Prince Charles is amazingly busy every day.

    1. Mary and Frederick are both fully capable to work independently and they both have their own activities. Fashion blog is just following Mary more than her husband. -Siri

  4. I like the idea of this suit but I think the jacket length and sleeves are a big long. If it were baggier it would be a zoot suit.

  5. My guess is that CP Frederik would garner few comments about his fashion, whereas, CP Mary is sure to present us with something interesting to discuss. Her suit is new, isn't it? The fitted waist is different, and I think I like it. It creates a more feminine look to this pinstriped suit.

  6. Both CP Mary and CP Frederik look busy, competent and sharp modern royals.

  7. Suit is great, the white blouse, not so much, seems too casual for the dressy suit.

    1. I agree. The top is too casual.

  8. Actually, I feel quite the opposite this suit is not your regular classic cut that you would want a statement peine underneath. Because o the fabric ( stripes) the length of the jacket, and the belt, it just needs a very simple top, otherwise it would be too much.
I am really liking the outfit, she looks trendy, sophisticated & appropriate.

  9. She looks perfect - love the tailoring of the suit and the line created by the belt. I think the simple top is the perfect accompaniment - it doesn't detract from the suit.
