On Tuesday, Crown Princess Mary attended a meeting with the youth panel of The Mary Foundation. The objective of the meeting was to discuss how the coronavirus pandemic has affected young people, the problem of loneliness during the pandemic and solutions. On Instagram account of The Mary Foundation, Crown Princess Mary shared a message about the meeting.
The message is as the following: "The meeting with young people became an inspiring and intense conversation about how corona and the restrictions that have been followed have had a big impact on young people’s lives. I was especially touched by young people’s thought and compassion to some of the groups that are having the hardest time and feel loneliest at this time. And I was very uplifted by their many ideas on what we can do – both to fight loneliness and create well-being among young people in the coming time."
Last week, The Mary Foundation announced that it has joined in a government partnership to highlight the challenges of loneliness among young people, which aims to develop a loneliness strategy for the purpose of combating and solving the problem. The Mary Foundation was founded in 2007 by Crown Princess Mary to fight against three main problems, that is, bullying and well-being; violence in the home; and loneliness. Crown Princess Mary wore a turtleneck sweater from Zara.
Very smart look for this occasion, simple turtleneck from Zara. She could give a masterclass in dressing for your audience (maybe her and Letizia could hold one, LOL)

Love the sleeves on the pullover. Can't see much more of her ensemble so can't say much more on the fashion side.
ReplyDeleteHope she continues with her work for young and lonely people. We never hear much about it but the suicide rate is being talked about as "alarming".
