The Crown Prince Couple's 2020 Awards ceremony will take place at Værket Cultural Centre in Randers today. On the occasion of Kronprinsparrets Priser 2020, the Royal court released a new photo of the Crown Prince couple. Every year, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary hand out four prizes in three categories at the presentation of the awards, which were established in 2004 as a gift from The Bikuben Foundation.
In the Værket Cultural Centre on 31 October, The Crown Prince Couple will present four prizes: the Crown Prince Couple’s Culture Prize, the Crown Prince Couple’s Social Prize and two cultural "Stardust" prizes. Crown Princess Mary wore a puff-sleeve belted wool dress from Beulah London.

A lovely picture of this very handsome couple. CP Mary's dress, with the thin silver belt, is beautiful, and CP Frederik's tie matches it perfectly.
ReplyDeleteAgree. Phenomenal picture.
DeleteWhat a lovely couple.....inside me......I think It is Princess Mary Who cut the fish..in Catalonia saying It means who really take the big decissions in that family.
ReplyDeleteCP Mary is always dressed perfect for the occasion. And everything suits her. I wouldn’t have bought this dress myself but on her it’s wonderful.
ReplyDeletePrincess Mary can make a simple, modest dress look wonderful.
DeleteAND, at last, at last, Prince Frederik has found a good tailor.
Maybe Princess Mary had a quiet little chat with him about his ill fitting suits.
If so, thanks Mary.
Agree with deadeggs.
DeleteFunny said :-)
The colorless tie of Frederik makes the total picture a bit dull.
ReplyDeleteMary’s face is lovely, the dress not so impressive and their postures a bit stiff.
Snow White and her Prince Charming. What a beautiful couple.
ReplyDeleteAgree she is snowwhite.
DeleteI love the dress. Femine with flowy skirt and fits her well.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture.

A lovely elegant photo of a lovely elegant couple.

Beautiful, but way to staged.
ReplyDeleteMaybe but it is a formal portrait.
DeleteMost formal portraits are a bit over staged.
An outstandingly beautiful portrait of this endearing and great-looking couple. I love the way they are placed slightly off-center in the photo; it gives the portrait an eye-catching, slightly unconventional quality.
ReplyDeleteThey both look beautifully groomed. A lovely, happy couple.
ReplyDeleteI also noticed the somewhat unusual, very interesting angle or positioning of Frederick and Mary (see Jane Chantal's contribution). This is obviously a very official portrait, showing F. in the centre - very much as a future monarch, so much so that if Mary was not in the picture, it would nevertheless be a complete (if very traditional, almost boring) portrait. But we have Mary, in a position very much in the sense of a queen consort. So for me, it is somehow more a photo of the future king accompanied by his queen consort and less of both as a couple. The simple white dress is very appropriate for this interpretation.

PS from (-Ann.): Mary is behind Frederick.
