On September 22, 2020, The Duchess of Cambridge met with families and various organisations at Battersea Park in London to hear how the families have been helped during the Covid-19 pandemic. The Duchess also received information about how peer support groups have continued to support parents during lockdown.
Representatives of networks including Home-Start, National Childbirth Trust and MUSH gave information to the Duchess about how they had struggled to meet up during lockdown and how important access to outside space had been to parents’ health and wellbeing. The Duchess wore a new short sleeve jumper from Ralph Lauren.
Ralph Lauren Nadalia Top
Marks and Spencer Wool Blend Slim Leg Cropped Trousers
Superga Cotu Sneakers
The outfit is growing on me but it's not one of my favourites for some reason. Another brilliant cause being supported.
ReplyDeleteI could not decide why I do not much like the trousers either. They fit her very well so perhaps it is the combo stitched in creases, tapered and not quite cut off and not quite full length. I cant put my finger on it because I like the way they look around the waist. and hips.
DeleteCourtney-Anne & nalerina, Agree with your comments re the pants. What seems off to me is that the pants have very prominent and decorative belt loops, but neither the Duchess nor the model are wearing a belt.
DeleteI do not care too much either, though I like the colour. I find that it emphasizes her torso, which is a little long. Her hair and smile are gorgeous.
DeleteShe looks great. Such a lovely smile!
ReplyDeleteShe's so tall and thin. Beautiful figure.
ReplyDeleteI think the pants and sneakers are great. The sneakers are suited for the occasion and inject some youth in the look. The sweater is okay but if the sleeves were tthree inches shorter it would look less old-fashioned.
ReplyDeleteAgree.

Beautiful outfit on the Duchess, finally.
ReplyDeleteShe looks lovely, simply dressed with beautiful hair (and smile).
ReplyDeleteTotally agree!
DeleteThe causes Catherine supports are heartwarming and her enthusiasm seems genuine. I think her overall look here is very nice. However, I always wonder why some pants are designed with belt loops but meant to be worn beltless.
ReplyDeleteAgree the causes are very worthy to support, but she doesn't look comfortable in any pic.
DeleteDoesn' t look comfortable??
DeleteYou see another pictures. She's very happy and confident.
A great informal look for the Duchess. I didn’t like the short trousers when worn as part of a suit but they look fine here with the white trainers. The plain sweater sets them off. Lovely to see her
ReplyDeleteThe Duchess looks great in her casual gear, the white sneakers in this instance work really well with this outfit. Her pants are the perfect fit. What I really love his the delicate necklaces around her neck, subtle pieces. Love her gold bangle.
ReplyDeleteNice look for the Duchess of Cambridge - like the colour of the trousers. Her hair looks nice here.
ReplyDeleteI like Kate's outfit very much. It is both age appropriate and on trend, something that has been lacking in her wardrobe lately. Her pants are perfectly tailored, and a sweater t is a perfect casual top. I also prefer her hair this way over all the blown out curls. It is a nice update to see it straighter. I understand each country has their own protocols, but I am surprised no one is wearing masks given the fact that the numbers have been steadily rising. It is just an observation from someone that has been under a mask mandate for many months. I love her commitment to these important organizations.
ReplyDeleteI fully agree!
DeleteI am no expert but I thought as long as thy keep distance and are outside it is not necessary to wear a mask. Inside - especially in small rooms or rooms without windows - it is another thing.
DeleteMeghan has very much to learn beside Kate.

DeleteSorry to disagree with you.
Meghan is her own person and looks and does just fine for who and what she aspires to be.

I am afraid I think it is the other way around. I think Meghan's taste far far superior to that of Catherine.
DeleteIt's not about fashion now. I was think about mexit.
DeleteMeghan has alot to learn about a great many things...fashion being just one.

What does Meghan have to do with what Kate is wearing? Nothing. Nothing is the answer. Stick to the subject at hand.
DeleteWonderful Kate!
ReplyDeleteFinally some tailored trousers and not the dreaded skinny jeans!!! I have been hoping for years that she would discover them and I keep my fingers crossed that now that she set her eyes on them she will never go back to the skinny jeans again (maybe except for private down time or some outdoors sports or Scouts activity - those could be the only occasions where the jeans would be appropriate). And she looks fantastic in them, she has the perfect body shape for slim/cigarette trousers that fit her like a glove. Well done!

Mignon petit haut blanc qui s'accorde avec la couleur de son pantalon. Elle est toujours merveilleusement bien coiffée avec beaucoup de naturel ; félicitations à sa coiffeuse !
ReplyDeleteLovely youthful outfit, perfect for the occasion. In the first photo, Catherine looks just like her Mum (in a family way). The only thing I have to quibble about is the permanent crease in the front of the pants, it somehow detracts from the casual look. The sweater, is lovely and brings Catherine's youthfullness to the forefront just as her beauty does.
ReplyDeleteI think that she is very similar to her mum.
Delete@Shelley, your obsession with Meghan and the tiresome way to always insert her on these posts is pitiful.
ReplyDeletePlease remain on point.
