On September 4, 2020, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain visited Carvajal family's funeral home at La Paz to say goodbye to their friend Jaime Carvajal. Jaime Carvajal Hoyos has died after a heart attack at the age of 56. Financier Jaime Carvajal had just returned to Madrid with his wife and daughters after enjoying a quiet vacation in Palma de Mallorca.
Jaime Carvajal was a member of the board of the Círculo de Economía de Barcelona, trustee and chairman of the audit committee of the Fundación Princesa de Girona, and chairman of the Fundación Juntos Sumamos.
Wow that stiletto Letizia!
ReplyDeleteshe definitely to lean on her husband to walk
W.
DeleteYes, that is some stiletto! As high and skinny as they come. Makes the odds for a fall very high.
DeleteI agree with you Angie. There is nothing wrong with her shoes and they are not any higher than any other shoes she wears. If she had difficulty walking in them, I doubt she would be wearing them.
DeleteShe has taller heels, these ones are not very high. In Spain women walk like that with their husband, it is sort of love, nothing related with the shoes, I walk with my husband like that in trainers.
DeleteAlso in Italy women are used to wear high stilettos walking at their total ease.
DeleteThey walk with their husbands this same way only to show affection.
She always looks good in black.
ReplyDeleteI know it's a sad occasion but the Queen looks appropriate and well-dressed here. No quibbles at all. It's also nice to see them walk arm-in-arm. Wish more royals did that.
ReplyDeleteEs triste despedir a un buen amigo. Pobre Sandra Falcó, perdió a su padre en Marzo por Covid y ahora, su marido de forma repentina. Este año 2020 es un desastre absoluto. :((
ReplyDeleteThe King and Queen look very dignified on this solemn occasion.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sad occasion, but she looks impeccably dressed, as usual. I'm sure she isn't as happy to get back to the stilettos though, after wearing comfortable shoes for so long :)
ReplyDeleteChel
The queen looks beautiful. I love the shoes!
ReplyDeleteEn cette occasion bien triste, tenue adéquate pour tous les deux ; heureusement que Letizia s'appuie sur le bras de son époux, cela lui évite de chuter !
ReplyDeleteShe looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSadly Letizia has had to wear a lot of black of late. I wish for her a time, when that is not the case.
ReplyDeleteAmazed at how she manages the heels without so much as a stumble ! But, she does wear them with grace and elegance ! Ana
