Danish Princess Marie received the award 'Stræberen 2020'
On September 29, 2020, Danish Princess Marie received the award "Stræberen 2020" from the organization De Samvirkende Købmænd, at Axelborg in Copenhagen. Axelborg building is home to the Danish Agriculture and Food Council. The "Stræberen" prize is awarded to a person who has made a significant contribution in the fight against food waste.
DSK - De Samvirkende Købmænd (The Federation of Retail Grocers in Denmark) is a trade organization and speaker on behalf of supermarkets and grocers in Denmark. DSK represents about 1.300 supermarkets, discounters, neighborhood shops, and convenience stores.
The award recipient in 2018 was Selina Juul, who founded Stop Food Waste. The 2nd award recipient in 2019 was Area Director Klaus Jørgensen from the Danish Agriculture and Food Council. The prize includes the sculpture "Stræberen" made by sculptor Torben Bøgh Hansen. The award recipient retains ‘Stræbere’ for one year.

DeleteVery nice - I like Marie but often don't like what she wears. But I think this works - it's a good transitional season dress.
