This weekend, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden hiked the 47 km long Jämtland Triangle in order to draw attention to the work being done by the Swedish Tourist Association, and also to contribute to the promotion of the Swedish nature. The Jämtland Triangle (Jämtlandstriangeln) is one of the most classic and prominent hikes in the Swedish mountains. The 47 km hike goes through the three mountain stations Storulvån, Sylarna and Blåhammaren, that are all maintained and operated by the Swedish Tourist Association (STF). Most people do this hike in 3 days.

    I love it! Victoria has red nails and is wearing a Yankees cap. She always looks so comfortable in these natural settings and exercising. It always makes me happy to see affection between royal couples.

    Very sporty couple. Doing 47km over the weekend is impressive, and with those packs as well. Looks like they camped along the way. What a fantastic tour, the scenery is breathtaking. Being out in nature is both humbling and rewarding, the perfect antidote for all the craziness in the world. Great way of promoting tourism in Sweden and an active livestyle. Victoria and Daniel clearly love these huge hikes. I´m superkeen to go on one myself.

    47km is a stout walk, especially with the large backpacks. They have good stamina/endurance. What a lovely task to take on!

    What a marvellous way to keep fit, you have to be in good stead to do this walk in the first place, well done to both of them. CP Victoria looks well dressed for the occasion. The background scenery looks lovely, peaceful and quiet.

    Lovely couple, however, their clothes and shoes look too clean to have traveled very far. Just an observation, not a negative comment.
