On September 1, 2020, Crown Princess Mary attended the opening of 'The BLOX - BUILD BACK BETTER Summit' in the house BLOX, which serves as a gathering point for design, architecture and sustainable urban development in Copenhagen. The Crown Princess was welcomed by Realdania's Chairman of the Board Michael Brockenhuus-Schack, Realdania's CEO Jesper Nygård and Realdania's philanthropy director Nina Kovsted Helk.
Prior to the opening of the summit, the Crown Princess participated in a tour of BLOX. BUILD BACK BETTER is a concept introduced by the UN in 2015, which is about the reconstruction process after disasters in the world's big cities. The summit focuses on post pandemic restoration, and how to achieve this taking into account the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Best dressed Royal lady, always CP Mary! This dress is simply perfect and suits her so well.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, Mary is glowing in that lovely color! She has an excellent presence about her.
DeleteI adore everything about this dress! The fit, the shape, the movement. I think Crown Princess Mary has one in emerald green, non? If so I can definitely see why she would buy two in different colors. This blush shade is lovely too!
ReplyDeleteI agree Anna. I think she has one like this or very similar in orange/coral as well. It’s a great style that suits her well. Love the gray accessories (shoes, pearls) too.
DeleteGlo
It’s a beautiful dress, but I find this blush colour very hard to wear as it can be too close to one’s skin tone. The snakeskin pumps help a bit, but overall it’s not her best look. (V.M.)
ReplyDeletecomment se faire éclipser par une autre belle brune dix fois plus classe!
ReplyDeleteCut of the dress is very beautiful but the colour is not right for her and washes her out. And again: The new lighter hair colour doesn't suit her at all, way too yellowish and unnatural looking for her complexion. With her original darker hair colour the blush colour of the dress might have looked a small degree slightly better than the now completely unflattering state. What a pity. She would be so much better off with keeping it natural and sticking to a matching colour scheme.
ReplyDeleteLove the dress , the shoes and the ponytail . I think her color is not the best for her skin tone .
ReplyDeleteHer hair color is not the best for her skin . Brown red was perfect .
DeleteAgree on every point. :)
DeleteAgreed with Anon 8 21 on every point. have no problem with her hair colour.
ReplyDeleteIt is cool that she is supporting this event. Fashionwise, her look is flawless. She looks great.
ReplyDeleteCarole
Exquisite from head to toe, loving the ponytail and the auburn highlights.

The dress is very lovely but asks for more volume of the hair.
ReplyDeleteShe is really to old for this kind of wearing your hair.
Too Old?
DeleteOh, my gosh, I suppose that women in their fifties and more wearing such hair colour and styles are mummies in your opinion!
Princess Mary looks lovely. I love her dress and her shoes are divine! I do not think the blush color "washes her out" at all. And her hair color might look a bit brassy because of the light. When not in direct sunlight the color looks quite subdued. The lady with the black and white graphic print dress looks very nice too.
ReplyDeleteI love everything except Cartier love bracelet, which is so boring and too popular among literally everyone with money.
ReplyDeleteThe Cartier Love bracelet is not a boring or fad for that matter. It is iconic, and several of the royal do have them. They have been around since the 70s. I would love to be one of those “boring” women. I have always loved the simplicity and idea of them.
DeleteLove this dress! The color, cut and fit are great. The snakeskin pumps are a fun, somewhat unexpected choice. I like the accessories.

CP Mary looks fabulous in this dress, the style and lines of the dress fit her perfectly, I love the colour on her. Those shoes are stunning, a great choice. She has a beautiful face and can wear her hair in this fashion and look marvellous. I love the jewellery . She is a very elegant woman.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree!
DeleteShe's perfect from head to toe.
ReplyDeleteThe shoes are to die for.
I like almost everything here. My only minus are puff sleeves. They make the dress look a bit childish. - Siri
ReplyDeleteThe sleeves are on trend, but I struggle with them as well. As we age, we need to wear the trends in an age appropriate way, if we choose to.
DeleteMe too, I'm not a fan of puffed sleves. I associate them with little girls' dresses. But yes, they seem to be on trend and and I seem to remember Princess Victoria recently wore a dress with puffed sleves.
DeletePutting that aside, everything else with her outfit is perfect.
I think her hair colour isn't being helped by the lighting in the photos.
What about the 1,5 m distance......
ReplyDeletePlease (everyone) could we drop the remarks about social distancing and just accept that each country is handling things differently.
DeleteShe looks amazing... I hope I look this good at 48! ;-)
ReplyDeleteMary has this same dress in orange. The blush colour is not as complimentary on her, as the orange. Mary is a beautiful woman, and I see why, as she gets older she doesn't want to keep the dark colour hair, but this is a tad too light for her. Ana
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely correct about women with very dark hair. As they age, a lighter color looks more natural and softer against their face. When they keep it dark, it looks too harsh and it looks dyed. She may darken it up for the colder months after enjoying a lighter summer tone.
Deleteune princesse digne de ce nom.....
ReplyDeleteLa princesse Mary fait très bien son rôle de "princesse héritière"
ReplyDeleteOui!
DeleteMary est toujours ' parfaite ' dans son rôle de princesse
