As Patron of the NSPCC (of which Good Housekeeping is the charity's magazine partner) and Childline, The Countess spoke about how young people inspire her, the charity’s amazing work and how adults can help children navigate different challenges. In the interview, The Countess also spoke about her work with Childline and the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.
Of her work with the NSPCC, the Countess revealed that it was the first patronage handed to her directly from The Queen, in 2016, and that she “accepted the honour immediately.". The Countess spoke as the following: "The NSPCC is one of the UK’s most well-known and respected children’s charities and its name has been familiar to me for as long as I can remember. I am proud that I can support the working being done to prevent child abuse and neglect, and support those who do not have adults that protect them."
The Countess also spoke about her own children, Lady Louise and James, Viscount Severn. The full interview involving new photos may be read from the following link: Good Housekeeping Magazine.
French Connection Camo Midi Shirt Dress
She has a beautifull face and does many good jobs ( I believe), but I often donot like her choice of fashion.
ReplyDeleteAgree, at least in this case. I like Sophie a lot, but I dislike any clothes in this camouflage-style (I hope this is the correct word?). Military clothes are for soldiers. Whoever lives in peaceful times should not wear military clothes.
DeleteI fully agree with what has been said, before.
ReplyDeleteAnother Sophie supporter here but don't like the dress.--I thought she was in uniform for an official visit somewhere when I saw the photos and only realised it was a dress at the end. Love the photo on the front of GH. Her smile, her hair and the dress/top are all spot on.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Anon 2:13. I admire Sophie greatly for her work ethics and sense of duty. Her sense of style, however, is usually lacking. Her choices are aging her. When she does get it right, she looks so fresh, young and lively. I think the camo dress is one of the dresses she did get right. Fun, appropriately youthful and on trend.
ReplyDeleteI have great respect for the Countess. She has marvellous work ethic, which she does quietly without fuss or bother, she has been steadfast all these years. She is a patron of many charities advocates and supports them exceedingly well. This is a beautiful photo of her on the cover of Good Housekeeping, her hair up looks lovely. This will be a very interesting interview to read.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree.
DeleteI can´t hlep in the forth pic she looks like Zarah Tindall.
ReplyDeleteShe appears very modest allthough she knows who she is.
Yes, you said it, she is modest .
DeleteNo unnecessary and restless public exposure,no staged poses.
She fulfils her duties
so well.
A real asset to the RF.
* endless ( not restless)
ReplyDeleteTrès jolie femme qui sait varier le choix de ses toilettes ; dans la robe blanche avec les cheveux relevés, elle a beaucoup d'allure !
