August 25, 2020 was the 19th wedding anniversary of Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette Marit of Norway. The crown prince family celebrated the wedding anniversary with a surf holiday on Lofoten island. Lofoten is one of its better known locations for surfing. Every September surfers from around the world visit to compete in the Lofoten Masters.
The family stayed in some very simple tourist cabins and there, the Crown Prince and the Crown Princess were photographed with their children, that is, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, Prince Sverre Magnus and Marius Borg Høiby, the eldest son of Mette-Marit from her first marriage. Marius limits his public appearances to the maximum and he only joins the Royal Family on very special occasions.
Agreed pictures or stolen ones? I am all for respecting privacy.
ReplyDeleteEven in comfortable sports clothing they both look good and very young!

ReplyDeleteSuch a cute puppy. I suppose that it belongs to Marius and his girlfriend since the crownprince family has 2 dogs.
DeleteAnd look no masks! Because they know this has been a complete con.
ReplyDeleteNo masks because the Norwegians listen to their government and follow the guidelines that are set for them ;)
DeleteMasks are recommended in Oslo on public transport, and elsewhere in Norway where a 1 m distance can't be upheld, but not in places where there's any need for masks, for instance places with few cases.
And no, we don't think this is a con. I feel sorry for you, but ignorance is a bliss, I guess.
Or maybe because they are in an isolated beach house, not in a crowded region.
DeleteThey are not wearing masks because they are a family bubble and they are keeping within their unit. Not likely to do with your supposed 'con' theory.
DeleteDo you not get news where you live that tell you about the COVID situation in Norway before you say things like that implicating the Norwegian RF?
- Anon 9:13
Outside with family in a country that wasn't hit hard by Covid- no need for a mask. Since it is a con, are you refusing healthcare if you get Covid? Or is ok for a doctor and other healthcare workers to refuse to treat you? Just asking as the wife and daughter of a doctor.
DeleteNC citizen - I agree with you that Covid has been a complete con job. And people are walking around wearing masks because of a 99.7% recovery rate (out of 1,000 "victims", 997 will walk away from this "virus"). Norwegians are not falling for it.

DeleteIf you mean that we’re not falling for conspiracy teoriens like the one you clearly believe in, then yes, we don’t fall for that ;)
I still can’t get over the lack of compassion of some people, the utter disrespect for the victims and family members is appalling. I suppose that these conspiracy theorist really believe that doctors, nurses, scientist & healthcare workers all over the globe have a zoom meeting everyday to to figure out how they can lie to us. Goodness gracious the ignorance is disheartening.
ReplyDeleteNo masks! Get out in the fresh air & sunshine and breathe non-masked air. Build up your immunity the real way... without masks!! This nonsense must end.
ReplyDeleteYes, can you please stop? Please??
DeleteOh my, what are you saying?
DeletePlease ,stop.
Plenty of people died due to Corona in my country, we all go around with masks and gloves.
I toured Norway as well as Denmark and there are wonderful isolated places where you can breathe pure air and have no need to use masks.
Guidelines change from one country to another.
This would be a great, relaxing holiday. How lovely to share it with all the family.
ReplyDeleteNice photo of princess Ingrid Alexandra with the puppy. She is a natural beauty.
ReplyDeleteTrue.
DeleteLovely family. Too bad the post was invaded by ignorance. Hoping (but not likely) that these 'con, hoax' comments were not all of fellow Americans.
ReplyDeleteConsidering one calls themselves NC citizen; it is unlikely, Unfortunately.
DeleteGreat to see the family enjoying time together in outdoor setting, adorable puppy.
