Charo Ruiz Ibiza Aida lace long dress
King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain visited Ibiza
On August 17, 2020, King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited the Monographic Museum and Necropolis of "Puig des Molins", the best preserved necropolis in the Mediterranean, home of the goddess Tanit in Ibiza. Afterwards, the King and Queen of Spain visited the town of Sant Antoni de Portmany (San Antonio Abad). Queen Letizia wore a new lace long dress from Charo Ruiz Ibiza.
Queen Letizia looks very Spanish. The long white dress has wonderful movement, and with the ruffles at her shoulders and down the bodice, it reminds me of Flamenco styled dresses. The ponytail enhances her look. King Felipe appears to have coordinated his outfit with the Queen's. He looks very handsome, as usual.
ReplyDeleteCompletely agree Debra - you said exactly what I was thinking only so much better:) I love her whole look!

Agree 100% so Spanish and it really suits her. I love the kings casual look as well.
DeleteIt's a gorgeous dress and a look she carries off with such ease. Both she and her husband are very complimentary in their outfits on this outing.
DeleteWhile the dress stands out for it's beauty her physique (especially her arms in picture 4) is one she should be very proud off - you can tell a lot of works goes into it.
... and local designer in addition
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous dress!! delicate and bohemian. Love the idea of wearing the typical fashion from the islands as a way to render homage and promote the labels. I think I would’ve liked this dress better with flat sandals, but nevertheless she looks gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThey also visited a shop where they transform “esparto” the grass used to make espadrilles, so often promoted by the queen, love the intentionality of promoting the local industry. BTW the king was wearing some very cool sneakers, which is rare for him outside of sporting activities. Love this family.
Oh, what a lovely dress!
ReplyDeleteCould have been a bit shorter, but nevertheless stunning!
I just love this dress. It gives me these wonderful summery ibiza vibes while still being chic and classy enough for an official out and about.
ReplyDeleteI really do envy her arms, so toned.
Fully agree!! It seems as if her body had stopped aging at the age of 29...

Tenues très estivales pour tous les deux... Superbe robe en dentelle mais elle aurait été parfaite si elle était un peu plus courte ; mignon petit sac-cabas en paille. Très cool le roi dans cette chemise qui lui va à merveille !
ReplyDeleteThis very wonderful dress is so Ibiza! I know this interisting museum, my husband and me were there when we visited the island a few years ago. Great exhibition!
ReplyDeleteBack to the stunning outfits! Absolutely beautiful and so cool and appropriate. Letizia has has a fabulous summer sartorially and every piece of clothing has been chosen with such care.
ReplyDeleteShe looks wonderful. Crisp white dress, airy and light and still somewhat dressy. I like this dress so much better than the one she the other day. This one is tailored and fits her perfectly. The silhouette is wonderfully feminine.
ReplyDeleteFelipe looks great, too.
What a beautiful dress - the Queen looks fabulous and cool and summery. The King also looks good in his white shirt.
ReplyDeleteToll schaut sie aus , die Königin !!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely dress--the bodice is beautiful and I love the way the lace continues onto the skirt. Like Sandra, I think I would have preferred it midi length but it looks good anyway and the espadrilles, this time, are absolutely perfect with it! A perfect summer look
ReplyDeleteStunning
ReplyDeleteThe Queen has saved the best for last. What a beautiful dress! Her tan shows it to perfection. The designer must be in heaven. The pictures do justice to her skill from whatever angle the dress is shown. Hair, makeup and accessories 10. ... and everything that Angie said.. Viva Letizia!

Oh, I love this dress. The fine detail up close is exquisite. The back view is equally as stunning. The V neck and ruffled shoulders add interest. The length is fabulous. Her shoulder bag is the perfect choice. A really feminine , pretty gorgeous summer dress, it suits her beautifully. The King looks great, I love what he is wearing, casual but smart. He is a handsome man, but his lovely disposition shines through. They make a great team.
ReplyDeleteSummery and elegant enough that the king and queen could go from the museum visit to an evening outdoor cocktail party. I agree with everyone else that Letizia’s dress is gorgeous, and imo it has a subtle but very definite festive flair.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress. But I can't see her weddingband or engagement ring. Instead she wears a golden ring on her first finger. Is it typical for her?

DeleteLa bague en or qu'elle porte régulièrement à son index gauche lui a été offerte par ses deux adorables filles !
Kathy, it's a beautiful dress and the queen provides a lovely canvas for the designer and local fashion. The king faithfully wears his ring so she gets a pass. A greeting.
DeleteTulipe 33, good to know. Thanks!
DeleteBoth of them look fantastic. Individually, and even moreso together. Nothing more to say.

ReplyDeleteNot a dress for a queen.
