Yesterday, Crown Princess Mary attended a meeting with executives of The Mary Foundation. The meeting was held at the headquarters of The Mary Foundation. At the meeting, how to carry on the events which bring together people physically that are not able to be held during the current pandemic was discussed. Other alternatives of holding these events without compromising on health precautions were also discussed.
The Crown Princess shared two photos from the meeting. Crown Princess Mary wore a multicolor pleated chiffon dress from Michael Kors.

I like the bit of extra volume in Mary's hairstyle here; it's very flattering. The dress is chic, understated and looks comfortable.
ReplyDeleteI agree, her hair looks great. The volume is very flattering on her.

It almost looks like a version of the famous “Rachel cut” from the ‘90’s- I agree it is flattering on Mary, along with her make-up and dress, great colors for her.

La mousseline de soie plissée est un choix judicieux qui flatte beaucoup la princesse ; j'aurais bien aimé voir les chaussures qu'elle porte ?!
ReplyDeleteFrom Joann - I like her hair a lot. I do wish they would release photos of the royal women standing near the tables so we could see the clothes. Off-topic: I like that "table" behind Mary. Is that have something to do with heating or airconditioning or is it just built in for added interest?
ReplyDeleteI would love to have something like that.
On the fashion front, I like the her outfit a lot. As Jane Chantal said "chic, understated and looks comfortable"
DeleteOn the off-topic question. To me it appears to be what is called a "cache-misère". That is, it is to hide the ugly, industrial look of the heating radiator.
The top of the cache-misère then becomes useful as a shelf or small table. Sometimes they are just called a radiator cover. The style of the cache-misère you see in the photo is very Scandinavian. Simple pure lines.

ReplyDeletePour répondre à votre question, il me semble que nous voyons un cache-radiateur qui peut être réalisé dans différents styles afin de poser des pots de fleurs, des livres, objets d'ornements et autres, au goût de chacun !
I like this dress a lot. The colors are darker but not too dark, (somehow nearing autumn makes me also wear darker colors) and v neck is flattering. I enjoy when she try different hairstyles. This one suits her nicely. Lovely look from the Crown Princess.

Lovely dress!
ReplyDeleteDidnot recognize Mary!
The same for me! Not sure about the hairstyle; since the word was used here, it gives me the impression of being also a hairstyle cache-misère.
DeleteLovely elegant dress. However, I am not a great fan of the fussier hairstyle
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely dress. I love her hairstyle, she looks great
ReplyDeleteI wish more success, happiness and prosperity to Crown Princess Mary and the entire Danish Royal Family
ReplyDeleteI do not mean to be offensive the least, but to me it seems that Mary's face is significantly more "faded" than the rest of the royal ladies at the same age: Mette-Marit, Letizia... Even the Japanese empress looks younger. It's not exactly the wrinkles, Maxima has wrinkles as well, but she looks much fresher in the face. I suppose she is just aging worse than the rest. Maybe the fact she lived 30? years in a country with lots of sunshine...
ReplyDeleteThe part of Australia where she lived is not noted for 12 months of sunshine and hot weather. Tasmania isn't all that far from the South Pole with its ice and snow.
DeleteMaybe she is burning the candle at both ends with all the work she is doing, plus being a mother to four children and plus, on standby as a beautiful wife for her husband.
I don't share the view that Mary's face is more faded than other royal ladies.
DeleteI think that all of them have their good and weaker days. Being strongly involved in many activities is certainly important for her, and not more demanding than a job with high responsibilities.

ReplyDeleteThis fashionable "out-of-bed" hairstyle looks terrible and does neither serve her features and appearance nor her role. The colour scheme of the dress would be more appropriate for autumn than summer.
