Beatrice Borromeo gave an interview to Corriere della Sera (Evening Courier), the Italian daily newspaper published in Milan. In the interview, Beatrice spoke about her morning with her sons, saying "If I don't have an engagement as a volunteer of the Red Cross, I spend the morning with my children."
She continued: "I get up when I hear that the people in the next room are waking up. We play a little on the bed, then have a breakfast (Stefano Ercole Carlo, 3 years old, and Francesco Carlo Albert, 2). Afterwards, when we are in Monte Carlo, we take a walk in the park or beach. When we are in the countryside, we walk in the forest. We have a farm in Southern France."
On July 2, Beatrice Borromeo launched her book “Capitan Papaia e Greta, the little warrior who wanted to cross the ocean”. Captain Papaia e Greta is a book which makes children respect environment starting from the story of Swedish activist Greta Thunberg who crossed the ocean with Pierre Casiraghi (captan papaia).
Part of the proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to Fondation Prince Albert II – committed since 2006 to the protection of the environment at an international level. One of the objectives of the Foundation is protection of monk seals in the Mediterranean Sea.
Very nice!
ReplyDeleteQuel adorable petit garçon aux très beaux yeux bleus dans les bras de sa ravissante maman ; même en tenue décontractée, elle est superbe !
ReplyDeleteShe is certainly one of the most beautiful of the current generation of royals, even in dungarees. Her wee boy is adorable
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with you AnnieM.
DeleteUn petit garçon ravissant avec de belles couleurs. MARIMAR
ReplyDeleteShe is quite lovely.
ReplyDeleteShe's both glamorous and "girl next door".
ReplyDeleteShe always seems perfectly put together.
Agreed 100%. A real beauty but simple at the same time. Always looks good in no matter what she is wears. And almost never gets it wrong.
DeleteShe does have the advantage of coming from a long aristocratic background. One could say "she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth".
Royals like Princess Mary of Denmark, Princess Charlene, the Duchess of Sussex and others don't have the same flying start and have to adapt to a radically new way of life. And sometimes it's difficult for these newcomers. And sadly, in blogs like ours, we seems to get great satisfaction in pulling some of the newcomeres to shreds.
O.K. said my bit for the day, so it time now for a good cup of tea.
She is a naturally beautiful woman. These are lovely photos of her, especially the dungarees photo she looks fabulous
ReplyDeleteDid anybody read under the pictures? Besides being gorgeous and smart , Beatrice is also a Red Cross volunteer. During this pandemic it is a clear "Brava!"
ReplyDeleteYes, we have read the post, but this a fashion blog, so.....
ReplyDeleteYou so are right.
DeleteI love the way the characters in the book are dressed. The colors coordinate well, though I do wish the camera's boots were a little bigger. I am worried he may topple over.
There...fashion.
