On Thursday, July 9, Queen Silvia took part in the online Samena Council Leaders' Summit 2020, and spoke about the importance of child safety online. Samena Council Leaders' Summit brings together leaders in the telecom industry, decision makers and regulatory agencies to discuss new challenges and opportunities.
In her speech, the Queen highlighted the importance of child safety online and the importance of everyone in the industry working to protect children.

Samena Telecommunications Council Leaders' Summit is Samena Council’s premier annual congregation which takes place in Dubai with the participation of public and private sector leaders from South Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, Asia, Europe and beyond.
