On July 3, 2020, King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain presented 2019 National Innovation and Design Awards with a ceremony held at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, Spain.
The National Innovation and Design Awards are the highest awards given in Spain in recognition of companies and professionals who have excelled for their excellent and exemplary career in some cases in the field of design and in others in the field of innovation.
The National Innovation and Design Awards were presented this year to Ignacio Sanchez Galan, Marisa Gallen, Silvia Fernandez, Porcelanosa Grupo, Inmunotek, Point, the University School of Innovation and New Technologies and Fhecor Ingenieros Consultores.
I think the Spanish are over doing this mask thing. They handed awards they touched, still transmitting!
ReplyDeleteNice stilettos thou
j.
Not really when your hands have been cleaned with hidroalcohol every time you touch anything...
DeleteHandswashing is a must!
I think they are right in being strict about it! First they set the exemple. In addition we can see a sort of general trend to take it easy, but the virus is still there and active. They would be criticized if there is a new wave, and obvious that they did not respect preventive measures.
DeleteHere at the supermarket the staff in charge of the trolleys is reminding people about wearing mask. We are still in a "fragile" situation more or less everywhere, or even worse in some countries. I see no base to believe that it is all over.
Yes, Unknown. After what the country has been through, they would be fools to take a cavalier attitude towards wearing masks. They must be sanitizing their hands constantly, and have provided sanitizer to all in attendance at the awards ceremony. They are an excellent example to all.
DeleteSpain - News from today : Espagne: la Catalogne confine (locks down almost..) près de 200.000 personnes suite à un nouveau pic de coronavirus!!!!
DeleteIt is spreading differently from one region to another.
Face masks are compulsory in Spain in all public places where social distancing can't be respected. The compulsory rules apply to everyone after 6 y.o. and is recommended for children between 3 and 5.
DeleteI don't think it would look good if the King and Queen of Spain were to blatantly break Spanish law where the rest of the country could not.
j. Only the foolish and selfish make such a ridiculous statement. You obviously do not know much about viruses and the transmission of them, particularly this one, which is spread mostly through the air. Numbers will continue to increase and people will continue to die with the uneducated people like you.

She is a goddess... her shoes are soooo beautiful
ReplyDeleteQueen Letizia is such a Beauty - perfect look.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful hair, dress and shoes...great look! Wearing a mask is wise since this virus is transmitted most directly through the air. This king and queen are setting a good example not just to the people in their own country but to people in other countries too, thank you!

Agree on both points. Great outfit and that the Spanish Royals are setting a great example about mask wearing.

Well said.

Almost always impeccably attired and made up.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen looks beautiful. This is a gorgeous dress. I love the colour of the dress, her shoes are divine. The earrings are the perfect finishing touch.
ReplyDeleteJust wow! Impeccable!
ReplyDeleteNot even wearing a mask can stop Letizia from looking regal!
ReplyDeleteQueen Letizia wore that dress in Cuba 11/2019.
ReplyDeleteGreat look - dress, shoes and hair are perfect. Red is her colour.

The Spanish Queen always so stylish and elegant. I have the impression that she lost some weight.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress, great hair and fabulous shoes--wonderful
ReplyDeleteAnonymous @11:41. No, the Spanish Monarchs are following science, and like most educated people they understand the importance of masks , and hygiene protocols. I wish our Government (US) would have been as exemplary , so we won’t be approaching more than 130.000 deaths. Stop the demagoguery, and follow your doctor’s guidelines.
ReplyDeleteLetizia looks exquisite from head to toe!!!!

Her posture is perfect even when walking down steps, which emphasizes the superb tailoring of the gorgeous red dress. She is a stunning beauty.
ReplyDeleteOne of the things that I admire about the Letizia and Felipe is that they and their daughters are seen in masks so often. It helps to show that masks are a normal part of people's life until COVID is gone. I wish they would not take them off even with 6'/2m. As another has stated, science is a good thing.
