On Tuesday 14 July, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden celebrates her 43rd birthday. This year, due to current restrictions, the traditional celebration at Solliden Castle was cancelled. On the occasion of the birthday, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar met with members of the media outside Borgholm Castle took part in a photo shoot.
Crown Princess Victoria's 43rd birthday concert took place in Borgholm's castle ruins, without a paying audience, with only a few invited guests in the audience. Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia attended the concert. (Crown Princess Victoria wore a new maxi dress from By Malina.)

DeleteBirthday wishes to a lovely lady. Afraid I don't like this dress at all--too billowy and nightdressy. Like Princess Sofia's classy blue and white dress though. Still enjoy seeing Oscar when he is unsmiling--great children and a delightful family

She looks better with straight hair and plain outfits. Curlies and print doesn't fit her well and thereby she looks older.
What an utterly enchanting dress. Love this on Victoria (actually, I can't think of any lady on whom I _wouldn't_ love it). Delectable.
ReplyDeleteSofia looks beautiful too in a dress that, unlike Victoria's, is very versatile. I don't think I've seen it before, but it is quite lovely.
And Estelle is growing so fast -- I'm not ready for her to have become so tall 🙂.

Sofia neat but somewhat oldfashioned (is it the shoes?).
Victoria in her hippie dress. It´s not a bad dress, but it´s not really her style, and it´s not styled right. The shoes are too clunky for it, the dress is too short on her (it´s meant to be a maxidress like on the model). And if you go the romantic/hippie route, the strict bun is a mismatch too. I like the brown accessories with the off-white dress, and I like the more open neckline.
Anyway, Happy Birthday, Victoria.

ReplyDeleteI love Victoria's dress. It is not overly dressy, looks light and cool, and has "Summer Evening" written all over it. It's perfect for a small, low-key concert gathering. I especially like the scalloped part that goes across the shoulders at the back, as seen on the model.

I love Victoria’s dress, the mix of fabrics is beautiful. It’s a perfect summer dress. The brown wedges look good as would a pair of colored espadrilles. Her earrings and necklace are delicate and pretty. Her chignon looks good but I would have loved to see a braid incorporated somehow. Estelle’s outfit coordinates with mom. Oscar’s looking big.
