Natan Monki Midi Dress
Belgian Royal family attended a Te Deum Mass for the National Day 2020
On July 21, 2020, King Philippe, Queen Mathilde, Crown Princess Elisabeth (The Duchess of Brabant), Prince Gabriel, Prince Emmanuel and Princess Eleonore attended a Te Deum Mass for the National Day 2020 at the Saint Michael and Saint Gudula Cathedral in Brussels.
Belgian National Day celebrates the birth of the Belgian nation, Belgian culture and pride and Belgium’s independence from the Netherlands. Queen Mathilde's outfit is by Belgian fashion house Natan.
Pas fan de la tenue d'Elisabeth.
ReplyDeleteLe turban : non.
Quant à la robe, elle lui fait prendre dix ans.
Just my opinion.
Beautiful family :)
ReplyDeleteWhy put a teenager in a granny dress??
ReplyDeleteAlso, that a very unflattering cut for Mathilde.
The boys look great, as does Eleonore. I like how her dress coordinates with her father´s sash and Gabriel´s tie.
Agree!
DeleteAgree too !
DeleteThat so -called teenager is a young lady of 18 and I am sure she knows her own mind and chose what she wanted to wear herself . Anyone who thinks it a granny dress is I am afraid a granny herself (like me.) She probably called it vintage and was bucked at wearing a 1950's dress and 1950's hat as well.
DeleteI am in two minds myself about the whole effect but on the whole except for that tie neck bow let loose I think the whole quite attractive actually even if I would never have chosen it for her. I think her excellent figure and carriage saved the day.
Fully agree with nalerina about Elisabeth ! Not at all a granny dress!! vintage yes.

ReplyDeleteEveryone looking summer stylish to me here, very nice pics. Whoever is making their masks is sure making mask wearing fun with the varieties of fabrics- Mathilde seems to have incorporated it into her fashion choices.
ReplyDeleteGlo
Absolutely not the right colour for Princess Elisabeth.
ReplyDeleteI see no need to be so tough about the color of Elisabeth's dress. To me a quite suitable dress!
DeleteEveryone looks well dressed to me, stylish and appropriate for the occasion.
ReplyDeleteIt seems Prince Gabriel is trying to grow a beard/moustache
ReplyDeleteThe Queen’s dress is a hard no for, it looks like a house coat and the fabric reminds me of upholstery, also the cut is not flattering for anybody with long legs and short torso. I don’t know if the designer was going for a 50’s vibe, being my favorite fashion era, I must say he failed. Fortunately she chose a different hat from the one in May.
ReplyDeleteI am on the fence about Elisabeth, the dress print is not bad, and it would probably look OK on somebody with darker complexion and considerably older, but it blends on her and the final result is a little dated.
I love Elisabeth's hair and make-up. The headband is a great option instead of a hat- it just feels younger. I don't know if it is the pattern of the fabric, the bow or the combination of the two but something about her dress just has a granny vibe. I love her orange clutch. Nice rewear from Mathilde. Love her hat. Love the coordinating masks. If only I could get matching ones made for all my clothes.
ReplyDeleteE.B.B.
Love how they all look and masks are great! It is also my birthday so Go Belgium!
ReplyDeleteThey look lovely, well dressed and stylish. A beautiful family.
