Natan Summer Dress - 2015
Queen Maxima paid a working visit to Hamer company in Apeldoorn
On June 25, Queen Maxima paid a working visit to technical installation company Hamer in Apeldoorn. Hamer is a family business since 1938 with core business in utilities, industry, automotive, fuel supply and the chemical and food industry. Afterwards, The Queen visited technology facility TechnoHUB in Woerden. Both visits focused on the importance of well-trained technical staff for the future of SMEs. The visits also discussed the impact of the corona crisis on SMEs.
I like the color of this dress on her, but this is not a flattering dress to her, especially in the stomach area. Perhaps if this were a straight fit without the darts in front. A figure like Letizia's would look great in this style, but not Maxima. It is also too tight.
ReplyDeleteShe looks as though she was poured into it. Same bad hair.

100% Agree.

Totally agree with you .
DeleteI could have guessed it before I saw that it is Natan. Fits badly not very flattering and can not make up my mind if that is a bare strip at the waist or not. It could have been so pretty if it just fitted properly
ReplyDeleteExtremely bright colour. One can see her. Cut of dress is not the most flattering.
ReplyDeleteIndeed.
DeleteThe lady in blue is the better dressed....... Maxima’s dress is too tight at the top, waist is too high and has an unflattering skirt. Nor am I particulary fond of the brown sandals with this dress.....

I absolutely like this little robot she is communicating to - it can dance and fulfill small tasks (I've seen it on a fair).
ReplyDeleteThe lady in the blue dress looks wonderful!
Oh dear, everything is too small. The top part is so tight, it is flattening her bust. It looks like it is cutting in under her arms, and it is much too tight around her waist. I can't figure out if it a two piece outfit, or a dress. It looks like there is a slight gap between the top and skirt. If it is a belt and not skin, it has been eaten up by her stomach. Her skirt is too short. She looks better with skirts that hit just below the knee. Her toes nearly hanging off the edge of her shoes again. She really needs to size up. She can successfully wear this color, but the size is way off. For a Natan, it is a surprisingly decent design.
ReplyDeleteWhy does Natan make unflattering dresses? It looks good and its a lovely colour until you get a side view. Is it actually red or orange?
ReplyDeleteThe uni-colour is very flattering and actually the cut would probably fit, if the size would be right.
ReplyDeleteThis dress does not fit, it's that simple. No amount of accessories or nice color will fix that. And will someone please show her how to run some fingers through her hair after she has been outside to make it not look like a birds nest :)

The dress is a brilliant colour, the shoes are lovely, but the fit of the dress is a issue. I do love the blue dress on the lady in the photo with the Queen, and her multi coloured shoes are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is lovely on her and more importantly she looks animated and is interested in participating with the people she is visiting..that is her job, not the dress, not the hair! She is a beaitiful woman period so she is not petfect but neither are the people who are criticizing her...get a life!
ReplyDeleteOh, oh, totally unnecessary, your comment.
DeleteThis is a side about clothes, not about doing good.
This is a fashion blog if you don't like it don't watch
DeleteYou can talk about fashion without being critical or commenting on body types.

The hair is a mess, and such a disgrace for a woman to be Queen of a country and not care enough to take care of it better. The dress is definitely a bright color, but is appearing to fit well, maybe it looked better in person.
ReplyDeleteI actually like this dress very much, but why, why won't you wear the right size, why won't you wear a proper brassier ( if she s wearing it ) you can see the bust line right below the darts , not to mention the pancake effect. The hair is just incomprehensible for me.

J'ai tout de suite pensé que c'était un modèle d'été de Natan qu'elle portait beaucoup mieux en 2015 ; ses chaussures sont belles mais la bride ne lui va pas vraiment car elle a un mollet "avantageux" !
ReplyDeleteShe wore the dress a few years ago but it did not fit her any better then either. So we can not blame it on Corona kilo's but we must blame the fitters at Natan. They are the ones who are sending her out in ill fitting clothes. They all need to go to a desert Island and never come back
DeleteUnsuitable dress for her, I think in her position she should wear longer hems & also nail polishes should synchronise with her frock colour.
ReplyDeleteNail polish! Now that everything else about Queen Maxima’s look has been criticized, you’re picking on her nail polish color? The same natural color all royal women wear?
ReplyDeleteThis, “Lets criticize Máxima” movement should not be accepted.
With the ill-fitting dress and shoes...plus the unhealthy, unkempt hair...there is plenty to critique. Opinions are a part of this site...if you do not like it or accept it... Gigi
DeleteThe polish color is getting petty. She gives us enough to talk about.
