Queen Margrethe II attended the Royal Life Guards' Parade 2020 at Marselisborg Slot and presented the "Queen's Clock" to one guard for his exceptional service. Normally, the parade takes place at the Royal Life Guard barracks in Gothersgade, Copenhagen, but this year the parade was held for the first time at the Queen's Queen's Aarhus Castle.

    I love Queen Margrethe, but think this dress does not flatter her. It does look cool and comfortable, though.

    Les rayures de couleur blanche et lilas conviennent très bien à la Reine ; avec les mocassins d'été blancs confortables, elle a beaucoup d'allure !

    The Queen is lovely, however her outfit is not suitable for the occasion. It looks far too casual, though the shoes are good for walking on rough stones.

    She looks wonderful, happy, casual. Not dressed to the nines like the english queen. Unpretentious and how good is that. At one with her people who love her. Well done. And I'm from Australia.

    To see the pictures brings back a lot of great memories from my two tours of duty guarding Marselisborg slot in the summer of 1979.
