On June 14, Queen Margrethe and Princess Benedikte attended the event "A Musical Afternoon" and presented Queen Ingrid's Honorary Grant 2020 to its recipients, in Fredensborg Castle Garden at Fredensborg Castle. Queen Ingrid's Honorary Grant (Dronning Ingrids Hæderslegat) is awarded every two years to two young artists from the fields of dance and music.
The award was established in 2005 by The Public Utility Society for Queen Ingrid's Memorial. The grants are awarded to provide financial support for young artists' further studies. This year, the grants were awarded to opera singer Nicolai Elsberg and ballet dancer Tobias Praetorius.
Quel plaisir de les voir toutes les deux pimpantes dans une couleur rose dont la princesse Benedikte qui porte une robe imprimée à fleurs blanches ; ses chaussures à talons gris foncé sont très chics !
ReplyDeleteagain all of a sudden cannot enlarge pictures anymore. At start of new site that was the same. Then it was possible again and now not anymore

Superb photos of the sisters in their complimentary outfits. it's so nice to see them carrying out this engagement jointly in memory of their mother. They both look great.
ReplyDeleteThey both look fantastic and very elegant! I love the dresses, especially the queens pink one!
ReplyDeleteI find the skirt on the Queen's dress a little too short (for my liking). A couple of more inches on the length would give it a more balanced look. Princess Benedikte seems to have the length just right.
DeleteNice to see the bright gay colours and flowers on their dresses which go well with their short, festive summer.
deadeggs, I understand what you are meaning, but I like the length of the queens dress, it looks fresh and young in my eyes :-)
DeleteLovely photos of the sisters. I love what Pss Benedikte is wearing a beautiful elegant dress. Love her choice of shoes.
ReplyDeleteTwo lovely ladies!
ReplyDeleteThe sisters look fantastic. I love the coordinated colors. The dresses are both very flattering. So glad they could carry out this joint engagement.
