On June 1, 2020, Princess Astrid, Prince Lorenz and Prime Minister Sophie Wilmes attended the re-opening ceremony of the Atomium Brussels. Atomium: Built for the 1958 Brussels World Fair, this 103-metre high structure represents a molecule of iron, magnified 165 billion times. The landmark was previously closed due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
During her visit to the Atomium, Princess Astrid was asked about her son. Prince Joachim, who has tested positive for Covid-19 after not respecting all quarantaine measures, is 'in better condition', according to his mother Princess Astrid.
Prince Joachim travelled from Belgium to Spain for an internship on 24 May, but went to a party two days later in the southern city of Córdoba. He was one of 27 people at the party. Córdoba's lockdown rules permit no more than 15 people at gatherings. Everyone who attended the party is said to be in quarantine. Prince Joachim, the youngest son of Princess Astrid and 10th in line to the Belgian throne, is said to have mild coronavirus symptoms.
Quel plaisir de voir la princesse Astrid avec son époux ; beaucoup d'allure avec cette veste combinée à cette petite robe. Très originaux les masques de couleur rouge !
ReplyDeleteI like the red facemasks with a smile
ReplyDeleteGreat to see this couple. Like Princess Astrid’s very chic dress & jacket.
ReplyDeleteNice, classy dress and jacket. But the red face masks with the smile steal the show :)

Pss Astrid looks great. I love the dress and matching jacket, the piping around the waist and neckline really lifts the outfit and adds interest.
ReplyDeleteI would like to wish more happiness and prosperity to the Belgian Royal Family.
