Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako received information from Yumiko Watanabe (Director of Children & Family Division of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare) and Yasuo Otani (President of Japan Child Care Association) on COVID-19's impact on childcare at Akasaka Imperial Residence.
At the meeting, single-parent challenges, child abuse, and infection risk at schools and childcare centers were spoken about. The Emperor and Empress expressed their concerns about child abuse, effects of stay-home request on families, and closures of schools and childcare facilities due to COVID-19.
Le couple impérial est toujours très impliqué dans les problèmes liés au Covid-19. La couleur grise de la veste est harmonisée à une légère/étole aux dessins "pastel" mauve et rose ; toujours chic l'empereur !
ReplyDeleteSoft colours, impeccable tailoring plus the Emperor has done the right thing again by wear a matching tie.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely jacket and scarf she is wearing. I wish he would get a hair cut, but then maybe they are still practicing social distancing guidelines.
ReplyDeleteThe Empress looks lovely. Soft, feminine colours, I love the contrasting cascading scarf, she looks well and happy.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly. Nice touch with the scarf. Just such a class act.
