A webpage on kungahuset that tells about the Crown Princess couple's official activities during the last ten years was also launched today. On the webpage, there is the opportunity to relive the wedding day through pictures and text.
Ahead of the Crown Princess Couple's 10th wedding anniversary, photographer Elisabeth Toll photographed the Crown Princess and Prince Daniel for new official portraits. The photo shoot took place in Gustav III's pavilion at Haga.
Gustav III's Pavilion is a royal pavilion at the Haga Park in Stockholm. As a highlight in Swedish art history, the Pavilion is a fine example of the European neoclassicism of the late 18th century in Northern Europe.
The pavilion was built in 1787 by the architect Olof Tempelman with detailed instructions from King Gustav III who was highly and personally involved in the project, producing some basic designs himself and suggesting changes once the work was under way.
The Pavilion underwent a major restoration between 1937 and 1946 by palace architect Ragnar Hjort. In 1996, the area comprising Ulriksdal, Haga Park, Brunnsviken and Djurgården became the world's first National City Park. The area is unique by virtue of its natural, cultural and recreational value and its direct proximity to a big city.
Crown Princess Victoria wore a new tulle ball dress by H&M. The Crown Princess is wearing the Baden Fringe tiara. She's also wearing the diamond Epaulette earrings.

Stunning photos (photoshopped ??).
ReplyDeletePrincess Victoria looks amazing.
May they have many more anniversaries with good health and happiness.
Sure, Princess Victoria looks great on photos but they are all altered.
DeleteAll professional photographers do post production on their work. It is to adjust for lighting, color, blemishes, etc. You would have a right to complain if Victoria was being altered in such a way to make her look thinner, or Daniel was made to look taller, for example.
DeleteThese are gorgeous portraits, and Victoria looks exquisite! I love seeing her hair down, and I hope she loves what she sees as well. Maybe she will start to wear her hair down on occasion. I love this couple and the way they work together.
@ Anon 7:09, You know very well what I am taking about !
DeleteNowadays every professional photographer (or 99% of them) takes photos in the non-compressed and lossless raw-file format. Raw-files have to be post-processed in order to be shown, so in that sense every photo taken by a professional photographer you see in the internet or elsewhere is always ”photoshopped” — or processed in some other image editing software. Then there is the question of style and genre: documentary news images normally differ from portrait photography in how they are processed and edited. And even documentary images may be sometimes be quite heavily processed in order to convey a certain feeling or to emphasize the dark mood of war by adding more contrast and structure to the image etc. whereas in portraits softer settings are used. These photographs are superbly done. Google up the originals, because some of the photos here are cropped from the originals

WOW I think that's the best I've ever seen her look. Love her in white, so elegant and crisp, the long dress with her hair down is magnificent, (she should wear it down more often, it makes her look so much younger) and the tulle dress with tiara is also very beautiful .Daniel also looks great, what a handsome man. They look so great and in love together.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful hair. Should wear it down more often. maybe not for more formal official occasions, but for less dressy ones it would be nice.
ReplyDeleteStunning photos of the Crown Princess Couple. Victoria looks glorious with her hair flowing down her back. She is so beautiful. Daniel doesn't look too bad either :-)
ReplyDeleteA happy end story to stay for ever!! If I remember well the beige evening gown was the one for an event evening just before the wedding. And her present to us all is the pic where she has lose hair. I like all her dresses here.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh, superb photos. I am a huge fan of bright colours but my favourite here is easily the gorgeous, elegant, classy cream dress in the first couple of photos. The neckline is a little reminiscent of her lovely wedding dress. And wonderful to see her with her hair down in the photos of the pink gown. Daniel is ultra handsome in his formal dress. Delightful couple.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful portraits! I'm glad Crown Princess Victoria recycled her dress and decided to use her hair down. She should do so more often. Prince Daniel looks really handsome.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning! Love this royal couple. The crown princess has never looked better! And prince Daniel as handsome as ever..
ReplyDeleteWooooow she looks stunning she should always let her hair downnn. It's like Victoria is literally rocking this look
ReplyDeleteW o w - I can’t stop watching these photos of Crown Princess Victoria, I’m blown away!!! She looks absolutely gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAn absolutely heartwarming reminiscence to the event 10 years ago. The crisp white dresses' silhouette and bodice reminds me of the wedding dress - clean and elegant - and the evening gown is the reworn gala outfit from the night before the wedding . What a way to show her love.
ReplyDeleteThese photos are absolutely stunning!!!
ReplyDeletestunning, wonderful, fabulous!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! They look fantastic, the styles are great!
I really miss that Tiara-occasions with wonderful gowns.
The white dress also is fantastic, Victoria looks so fantastic!
I love that Victoria rewore a dress from the pre-wedding festivities. The Elie Saab dress is stunning and I love the blush color. Her hair looks beautiful down. Victoria looks beautiful in all three outfits.
ReplyDeleteE.B.B.
These are best pictures of seen of Victoria. She looks fantastic. I particularly liked the first one of her seated in the white dress;. The pose is somewhat formal but manages a casual feel too. She looks great here.
ReplyDeleteHe looks seriously sharp.
ReplyDeleteNot a guy to mess with
Wow, ten years already. It was a beautiful day for the wedding of Victoria and (the then shy) Daniel. And I remember that beige gown with Daniel bending down to straighten it out for Victoria. Lovely new photos. She looks absolutely stunning in that soft off-white dress. Beautiful.
ReplyDeletePerhaps a Swedish person on here could tell me why it's always "prinsessan" (the princess) but "prins" (prince). For example, it's "the Princess Estelle" but "prince Oscar" on www.kungahuset.se and other places. Thanks. Google has been no help in this case.

DeleteIt's just the way Swedish grammar works, because prinsessa ends with a vowel.
DeleteTo Haga: I think Laurel means why it is always prinsessaN Estelle but not prinsEN Oscar.

Stunning photos. I have never seen the CP look more beautiful. The first two photos are beautiful. I love the floor length gown, she looks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. The first 2 particularly are stunning.
ReplyDeleteBreathtakingly stunning!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely to have some real glamour return!!
Can´t agree more.
DeleteThat Elie Saab dress is a work of art!
ReplyDeleteIndeed it is. It is the same gown Victoria did wear at her pre-wedding party night before wedding.
DeleteWow Victoria!! I love her hair down , I agree, she should have it more often! The Elie Saab dress is my absolutely favorite dress of hers and very good that she uses it again. Her makeup is perfect. All around super beautiful!!
ReplyDeletePhoto 8: all of a sudden one notices some resemblence with Madeleine
ReplyDeleteQuel couple magnifique. Victoria est ravissante avec les cheveux lâchés ; cela lui va beaucoup mieux que le petit chignon qu'elle porte trop souvent !
ReplyDeleteThat white dress looks stunning on the Crown Princess. Wishing them a happy 10 wedding anniversary and decades more.
ReplyDeleteTala
So much photoshop.
ReplyDeleteAmazing outfits, all three. - Siri
