Because of the spread of coronavirus, Children’s Relay Race 2020 is cancelled. The run marks the fight against bullying and how important it is to maintain a concerted and preventive effort – already from a very young age. When the kids cross the finish line, The Crown Princess distribute medals along with personalities from DR’s Ramasjang and Free from Bullying’s mascot, Bamseven (Buddy Bear).
Crown Princess Mary sent a video message for the event. In the video message, the crown princess said the following: "This year we had to canceled the Children’s Relay Race (Fri For Mobberi Børnestafetten 2020) in both Aarhus and Copenhagen. Today we should have run in Copenhagen, but it was a different race this year. We run together - separately!"

Save The Children Denmark and the Mary Foundation’s Children’s Relay Race has been taking place in both Aarhus and Copenhagen since 2008. On 25 May 2019, 542 children ran against bullying in Mindeparken in Aarhus. The Free of Bullying Children's Run marks the serious message that bullying is never acceptable, and that everyone has the right to belong. All runners get a T-shirt and a medal.

ReplyDeleteGreat cause. I love that she is so engaged with this, seems like a fun one for the kids. Very much agreed with everyone on this, she looks good in anything, but the tshirt for the event is cute!
