On Tuesday, May 19, 2020, Queen Silvia of Sweden had a phone conversation with Mrs. Elke Büdenbender, wife of Germany's Federal President, on, among other things, the opening of Germany's third Child House, Berlin Child House.
Berlin Child House will be the third in Germany, after Leipzig and Heidelberg. Last year, The Queen and Mrs. Büdenbender opened Germany's second Child House at the Centre for Paediatrics and Youth Medicine of Heidelberg University in Heidelberg. The opening of Child House in Berlin is scheduled for September 3, 2020.
Berlin Child House will serve at the Charite University Hospital. Later this fall, Child House in Düsseldorf will also open. Child House is an initiative of the World Childhood Foundation established in 1999 by Queen Silvia and is a meeting point for children who have become victims or witnesses of physical or sexual violence
Quel plaisir de voir la Reine travaillant par téléphone ; elle est ravissante dans ce petit tricot de couleur saumonée !
ReplyDeleteGood job - great course.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen continues to work behind the scenes and keep abreast of the developments from this organisation. I love the work that she does with the World Childhood foundation. Well done.
ReplyDeleteSo she made a phone call. Is it really news?
