On May 26, 2020, Dutch Princess Mabel attended the Amsterdam Breakfast held at restaurant RIJKS in Amsterdam, which raises money for the fight against HIV/AIDS. This initiative very important during the corona crisis, especially in Africa, because many people do not have access to AIDS drugs because of the corona measures. Buying breakfast can help to fight HIV and AIDS.
Princess Mabel openly and actively participates in fighting against AIDS. Activities of Princess Mabel have focused on strengthening of human rights, supporting defenseless groups and especially supporting teenager girls and young women suffering from HIV infections.
The Netherlands has started easing its lockdown measures over coronavirus. Cafes and restaurants will be permitted to open on 1 June, with a maximum of 30 guests, the Dutch prime minister has said.
Does being rediculously rich give you the privilege of dressing rediculously?
ReplyDeleteApparently so, Anon 9:19. This was a breakfast, so maybe she'd just got out of bed. ~Laurel~
DeleteNo, but it gives you the privilege of spelling ridiculously correctly.
DeleteDon't be silly this was breakfast she is allowed to wear her pyjama's
DeleteWhat is going in in the Netherlands? Today Maxima was dressed as a brown paper bag ans Mabel forgot to take off her morning robe.
ReplyDeleteIt was a breakfast. ~Laurel~
DeleteYou don't understand the Dutch mentality they are really very good at supporting lost causes and helping "kansloze personen" meaning chanceless persons. If they do not support the designers of the paperbag and dressing gown/bathrobe those poor designers would have nothing to eat.
DeleteThis is a great initiative. It is great to see Pss Mabel giving her support.
ReplyDeleteHer shoes are clean and white!!!
ReplyDeleteI will just add that her sunglasses don't flatter her at all, I assume they are only sunglasses.
ReplyDeletePour ce petit déjeuner dans un restaurant, j'aurais bien vu Mabel sans cette robe du matin qui est quand même très jolie ; à mon avis, le haut et le pantalon du pyjama auraient suffi !
