On Friday 15 May 2020, King Philippe of Belgium accompanied his daughter Princess Eleonore on the first day of school (Grade 6) and took her to Sint-Jan Berchmans College in Brussels. In Belgium, primary and secondary schools gradually reopens. Priority is given to the first, second and last years (e.g. Grade 6). Princess Eleonore turned 12 in the lockdown (April 16).
The National Security Council, made up of politicians and experts, announced that schools will reopen part-time from next Monday for some elementary and secondary grades. Nursery schools will remain closed.

Does anyone know where to by this fantastic double breasted blazer for my husband?!
ReplyDeleteBien jolie Eléonore qui a l’air de beaucoup aimer la couleur rose ; elle a de plus en plus le regard de son papa !
ReplyDeleteThe King looks quite handsome in his suit. As for Eleanore, she looks like any other kid, what a cutie.

As there continues to be some nervousness in places about the children returning to school, good to see the Belgian Royal family setting an example. I'm sure it will encourage others in their country to do the same.
ReplyDeleteMay Princess Eleonore spend wonderful school days.
ReplyDeleteThis is marvellous that Pss Eleonore is able to get back into a routine and participate once more at school. The King looks dashing, I love his suit, he looks so well groomed. A handsome man.
ReplyDeleteThe princess is dressed like an ordinary 12 year old.
