On the occasion of the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Luxembourg Red Cross which was held this week via video conference, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa released a video message to thank all of the employees and volunteers of the organization for their exemplary commitment during the Covid-19 pandemic. Grand Duchess Maria Teresa is President of the Luxembourg Red Cross.

In her video message, the Grand Duchess reminded that the Red Cross has been strongly mobilized to help vulnerable and needy people. Grande-Duchess also thanked to all the people and companies who work with the Luxembourg Red Cross in its mission of aid and assistance. The Luxembourg Red Cross is the Luxembourg-based national organization of the International Red Cross. The Luxembourg Red Cross was established on 8 August 1914 by Emile and Aline Mayrisch.

    The Red Cross is a marvellous organisation and in times of need they are always there. It is great to see this being acknowledged by the GD Maria Teresa. Love her jacket with the two tone collar, very chic.

      Hi Marguerite, I feel pleased, I understood your message! For the Gr Duchess the question is quite relevant indeed! I don't think it is easy to learn, I have some Dutch and German so not too difficult, except the spelling according to me.
