King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima posted a new family photo on the night when the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 was going to be held in Rotterdam. In the message added to the photo, "Europe is going through a very hard time. Let’s keep our eyes and ears open to each other. Together, we stand strong. Europe, shine a light and keep the music alive!” – King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima." wrote the King and Queen.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2020 was planned to take place on May 16, 2020 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands as the 65th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. The contest was cancelled on March 18, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is the first time in the contest's 64-year history that it has been cancelled.
Queen Maxima wore a top by Claes Iversen, which she had worn a few times before. The outfits worn by Princess Amalia ve Princess Alexia are by Self Portrait.

ReplyDeleteI can never understand Royal ladies attachment to their handbags. Why would Amalia need one at home? It was the same on Kings Day. Máxima’s outfit seems slightly over the top for a party at home but I am not a fan of this top.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. Maybe being a future queen, she is starting to carry unnecessary accessories at these small appearances so it will gradually become second nature to her by the time she becomes queen.
DeleteMaxima is usually dressed over the top, so nothing surprises me with her. It is surprising to me that there is no coordination among the family, however.

ReplyDeleteI see 3 princesses, Amalia, Alexia and also Ariane. I miss the message about Ariane, she looks beautiful in her dress. It is a happy picture of the Royal Family. Princess Ariane does also belong to the family as the 3rd daughter of king Willrm-Alexander and queen Maxima. Why not mention her?

Beautiful family photo. The young princesses are stunning looking young ladies and are a credit to their parents. Queen Maxima looks bright and stylish, she is never boring, good for her. I admire her enthusiasm and passion for life.

ReplyDeleteGreat family photo. The princesses look lovely. I will admit, I do like that Maxima's heart hand gesture is covering the embellishment on her top, it's not my favorite, but definitely her style . On the other hand, her hair looks good here (just a lighthearted comment:) )
