Prince Louis of Cambridge, youngest child of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, turned 2 today. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared five new photos on the occasion of the second birthday of Prince Louis. The photos were taken earlier this month by The Duchess at the family's Norfolk home, Anmer Hall.

Like his siblings, Prince George, 6, and Princess Charlotte, 4, Prince Louis Arthur Charles of Cambridge was born at St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London. Happy birthday, Prince Louis!

The Prince of Wales has shared a photo of himself tenderly hugging his grandson Prince Louis to mark the royal toddler's second birthday. In the black and white picture, Prince Charles is facing the camera, while Louis wraps his arms around his grandad’s neck.The prince posted the image on his official Twitter account with the message: A very Happy Birthday to Prince Louis, who turns two today.

      Come on...even if I have probs too with the enthusiastic reactions of most people (women) towarda toddlers and babies...the reaction is biologically motivated and he's def.sweet. Above common average. Frieda

      Is it necessary to verbalize every unpleasant thought that passes through your head? How about if you can't think of anything pleasant to say, say nothing at all? When referring to photos of 2 year child celebrating his birthday...

      "Unknown 2:24pm" has their opinion just as the rest of us do. People gush over the Monaco twins, but I never don't. I think Louis and big-brother George are cute, with Louis winning so far (sorry, George - you have a SUPER-cute little brother!).

      We all see things and people differently. I see no need to criticize 2:24pm for their opinion. I'm sure all of you have criticized someone or something sometime in your whole life - am I right? Thought so!

      Laurel, I agree with you to a point. We all have thoughts. The difference is that most poeple know that it is polite to filter what we say aloud. It is a good practice to get into. That is why we are told as children, "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all."

    What a beautiful little boy and so very like his Middleton grandfather ----I don't always see child/adult comparisons as I've said before but think this one is very strong. Agree with PB Coleman that he is also very like Catherine as a little girl.

    So cute! Lovely pics! Happy Bday. The rainbow hands are great! Agree with those who say he looks very much like Mom and Grandpa Middleton. Very sweet photo with Charles too. I still remember my surprise at Louis’ Mom at Harry’s wedding so soon after his birth- what a real trooper she was!!

    The little prince is adorable. The photos taken by his mother show a happy little boy. I imagine he was happy to get his hands in the paint:-) The black and white photo of Prince Charles and Louis almost brought tears to my eyes. It is probably not often that Prince Charles is able to interact with this grandchildren, and this picture is very special.

    The photo with Charles is indeed heartwarming. I looked at it for a while. I think it is the black-and-white that makes it look like from older times gone by and make me think of my own grandparents´ generation. Great photo.
