On April 27, 2020, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain visited the 112 Emergency Center (Agencia de Seguridad y Emergencias Madrid - ASEM 112) in Madrid during the couple's first public event out of the Zarzuela Royal Palace since the lockdown started 44 days ago amid the ongoing coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. Spain is under lockdown in a bid to slow down the spread of the pandemic COVID-19 disease caused by the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2). |
Nice to see them out visiting an Emergency Center. It is getting a bit tiresome to wear a mask and gloves all the time. I like Letizia's pantsuit. A small reminder this horrible virus can't be seen, but does so much damage to as all.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see them out as Spain begins to lift its lockdown. The smart sombre suit seems entirely appropriate for the occasion.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, great suit for the occasion. Her sartorial skills are second to none. She has the best tailoring around as well.

BRAVO, MAJESTADES
ReplyDeleteBravo - they are wearing masks. Although we have a pandemic so many people arenüt a good example. Look at that Germany.
ReplyDeleteI think there are differing opinions about the effectiveness of a mask, and the situation is not the same in every country. In more populated areas they may be useful, though. As for gloves, the same applies for them, too: you shouldn’t touch your face with them, either.

Excellent to see the royal couple taking precautions. The Queen looks appropriately dressed, lovely.
ReplyDeleteThey are a wonderful example to all. I am thrilled to see them wearing masks and gloves. For those that aren't wearing masks, it doesn't hurt and can only help.
