  1. Overall high marks to this look! I dislike the crazy shoes and the ruffle (with feathers, or something) at the waist, but as this is exuberant Maxima, nice hair, tasteful jewelry, and a basically pretty and appropriate dress make me very happy.

Nice looking dress, don't like the hem much. The jewelry is very nice. Her lipstick is a very nice color.

    1. I agree, it is summer over there, nice dress, shoes as well as hair extensions are ok for me. I am only hesitating on this belt, but I think I can be convinced about it (I guess that is the way we should call it).

  5. Maxima's beauty shows in these photos. I don't care for the uneven hemline. Other than that, the dress looks beautiful.

I agree. I don't like the uneven hemline either. But I love the dress.

  7. Belle robe asymétrique mais avec des fleurs plus petites, elle aurait été plus chic ; par contre, superbes ses escarpins originaux.. J'aime beaucoup ses boucles d'oreilles que je mettrais bien dans mon écrin à bijoux !

Oh dear, another odd outfit. The shoes are way too sporty looking (from the front) for the dress and from the back, they are just plain odd looking. The waistline (belt) is lost in the pattern, would have looked nicer over a simple, lighter colored skirt. The hair, though not a disaster, would look better without all the extensions (she is not a 20 year old anymore), and the shiny stockings, simply must go. I wont mention the oddly shaped hemline, or the earrings that are just 'too busy' with the rest of the outfit. She does have a lovely smile.... JT

@JT How are these shoes "sporty"? They are evening sandals. They look too small by half a size, but that is the only porblem with them. If anyone needs extensions, it is Maxima. Her hair is so damaged from overprocessing that it is the only option she has other than cutting her hair short and starting over. Is there some rule that extensions are only for women 20 and younger? That is a new one on me. She should be wearing them regularly. It might give her hair a chance to recover. As for the shiny stockings, huh? She isn't wearing stockings. She is bare legged like she should be with these shoes.

    2. Agree with anon8:19! and disagree with anon1:09. She has hair extensions for evening occasions and wears them nicely. As many others I dislike her casual day hairstyling (without extensions, easy to recognize, the heavily staged style appears then fully).

    Horrible from top till toe:
Barbie hair extensions, dress soso, the (belt unnecessary on a flowerprint)the seam indecent , showing legs (that are not her strongest point )the shoes really vulgar and a bad combination with the dress ( the model wears flat shoes: much better).
Where is your taste YM? You can do much better!

I think the dress in itself is rather nice. But she manages to spoil it with the belt, indeed totally unnecessary. The shoes are too small, toes hanging out, and indeed again, too much emphasis on her legs, which would benefit from less emphasis. She simply has poor taste, so much is clear to me and would benefit from good style advice.

  11. I actually like this outfit very much, very pretty print, maybe the feathers are a little too much, but I think it works for her. Good hair, and fantastic shoes... as usual a little too much on the jewelry department, but I think she looks quite good.

Gorgeous! Make-up is absolutely perfect. QM looks happy and well rested. Dress is her style and looks great on her. I'm not a fan of the high-low hem, but then I'm not a fashionista!

I think she looks great! The dress is a lovely print and it fits her well. The accessories, while exuberant, suit the overall look. Plus, her hair and makeup are excellent. (V.M.)

  18. The dress is quite nice, but not a fan of hemlines, such as this.

  19. Well, glad to see her hair and makeup looking good. It's certainly not the worst outfit, especially lately, and it fits well. I just really root for her to do so much better.

  20. When I saw the top picture, my first impression was that she was holding something furry like a cat. In the other pictures I realized it was part of the dress, shiny feathers?

This is a perfect example where a make-up artist can bring out her natural beauty and style her hair as well to the longer length she seems to prefer lately. She looks really natural and pretty. As for the shoes I am giving her a fashion citation!

  26. Yes, this is nice! She looks like she managed to calm things down a bit and find a look that is in tine with the event.

Maxima est très belle mais comment fait-elle pour porter des escarpins aussi hauts et fins ?

  28. I lurrrve this dress. The heels, high-low hem and button neck make it a little sexy. It’s a great color/pattern too. She looks great! Except for that crazy belt. What is that? It looks like she wrapped a muppet around her waist! I wouldn’t say no to that emerald ring though.

Muy guapa está vez, aunque no sé qué trae en la cintura.

  31. Well, I like the print, her hair and makeup are great. She looks lovely overall. But I again make the point that the high-low thing is not for all occasions and even want to add that I do not think after a certain age it's generally appropriate. As good as she looks, it's fad-dish and few women's legs can manage it. I don't know what the say about the feathers; they aren't as bad to me as the shoes or the ruffled high-low look with a dress that already has a lot going on.
