Norwegian Crown Prince family shared new photos

On their official Instagram account, Norwegian Crown Prince family shared a few new photos taken at Skaugum, their family residence in Asker. In the message added to the photos, the family greeted all students, teachers and parents doing homeschooling work. The photos were taken by Princess Ingrid Alexandra.

The family wrote the following: Here at Skaugum there is full pressure from homeschooling. Sverre Magnus has made Chili Con Carne (Tex-Mex dish) for dinner as a task requested by Food and Health course. A warm greeting to all students, teachers and parents who do homeschooling work.

      Yes! I think it's nice that the kids are surrounded by normal and simple interior instead of chandeliers and golden ceilings. There are probably pretty rooms at Skaugum but at least their most private area is normal. That's nice for the future queen-to-be.

      @Anon 9:51, I agree with you. It's not only nice but important for children (Royal or otherwise) to know that life isn't only about fancy rooms, food and places, but about simplicity and ease of living. It helps them to appreciate and enjoy the differences even more, and in the case of future kings and queens, to bring them closer to the way of life of the majority of their people.
      From images we have seen of other European royalty with young children in their Christmas videos in their houses and kitchens (Sweden, Denmark, Kensington Palace for example), I think most of them have very normal and ordinary living spaces with only a few fancy rooms for visitors.
      In a photo last week, I asked about some beautiful metal candlesticks we could see on a table that Haakon was working on. I asked because I have a candlestick that is almost the same, and I bought it more than 25 years ago from IKEA.
