Yesterday, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain held a video conference with Mercadona's President Juan Roig and Mercadona's executive team. Mercadona is one of the leading physical supermarket and online shopping companies in Spain. In the video conference, the situation of the distribution sector, which has been active since the declaration of the state of alert for the coronavirus pandemic, was addressed.
