ReplyDeleteAgree. I think she does not use alterations, or if so they need to tailor more specifically to her proportions. Such as having a higher waist, the torso should not be so long, it’s pushing up. A little off the bodice length and just a tiny bit more around for her waist and curves and it would have laid more smoothly. Don’t get me wrong it’s a GREAT color for her and I agree it is one of her best looks. My absolute fav was the blue one like this with the awesome earrings.

ReplyDeleteThanks alot Meghan. Just when I thought you could not possibly be any more stylish, well, you proved me wrong. And I'm quite picky about my Royal style, at least that which warrants my time and opinion. I just skip over peeps whose style underwhelms me. For me, style is as much about presence and causes as it is about clothes and accessories.
One can have a voice for self and others and still look and feel fabulous. That's exactly how my friends and I approach fashion, and it makes life's challenges more interesting and a bit less challenging.
Once again, Meghan's confidence and posture add that extra element of style that this dress invites. A very striking colour story. I like this tone on tone interplay, balanced by a sleek, mod hairstyle and a handsome man in uniform.
Happy to see them both happy!

They make a stunning couple. Both Harry and Meghan look fabulous. Love her dress. Her earrings are pretty but wish they had featured some gold, silver or diamonds, or something that sparkled in the light. Her clutch and shoes were nice too.

I love this dress. Doesn't she also have it in another color? Her hairstyle is chic, sleek, compliments the style of the dress and shows off her earrings. Sometimes when her hair down I feel like it overwhelms her delicate features but this style does not. I don't mind the red shoes but wish her clutch was a different color. Black or gold would have really popped off this poppy red.

The red is beautiful, but this dress needs to cut 1 element. It looks odd with the shorter shoulder capelet and the longer back cape. Maybe if it flowed as in 1 piece? But her hair and makeup look beautiful. And I love the all red accessories.

A minor quibble would be the accessories. The shoes are fine but the clutch needed to be dark red or black. The earrings do provide some accent colour but they get lost against her dark hair. Her nail polish is an odd colour.
Dress is pretty, similar in style to the blue gown in Australia tour. But fit is off again. Hair and make up improved to previous engagement.

I sometimes wonder if some of you need to have something negative to say about this woman. It feels like you are all hoping that they fail. I just don't get it. She is reserved, he is sad looking, even with the smile, and the handsome dress uniform. The entire situation is sad, especially for the little guy left behind, who wont' get to know his cousins, his grandparents, great grandparents etc. The situation seems so depressing, I hope it has a great outcome for all involved. You think having the press publish a photo shopped picture that shows a monkey as your child doesn’t qualify as been abused by the press? Not everything has to be a cat chase. And no, in fact there are no amendments made after Dian’s death. There’s no restriction as to who can chase people on the streets. Even if things aren’t a carbon-copy with what happened decades ago, that doesn’t mean they are acceptable. Harry wants his family treated with decency. I don’t see anything wrong with that. They didn’t get a decent treatment and they don’t value status above their own happiness. You can have a perfectly wonderful life outside the royal family. I think we can all agree with that.

A superb evening gown, luscious red. Beautifully tailored, love the cape/draped effect at the back. It highlighted the Duchess's perfect posture. Neckline is excellent. The shoes and clutch are stunning choices. The only thing I would change is the earrings, some lovely diamonds, but that is personal preference only. This is a elegant and very regal look.
