On February 4, 2020, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the Mumbles and Port Talbot in South Wales. The Duke and Duchess first visited the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) Mumbles Lifeboat station, which is one of Wales’ busiest lifeboat stations. The Duke and Duchess also met with volunteers before watching the Mumbles Lifeboat launch as part of a training exercise. (The Duchess wore a new navy coat by Hobbs London, and a new knitted puff-sleeve jumper midi dress by Zara.) |
Afterwards, The Duke and Duchess visited Tata Steel in Port Talbot. There, The Duke and Duchess met with employees and their families. Tata Steel is the UK’s largest steel plant and has been operating on the site for more than a hundred years. |
Thereafter, The Duke and Duchess visited the Bulldogs Development Centre. The Bulldogs is a partnership between Bulldogs Boxing & Community Activities and Port Talbot Amateur Boxing. The centre supports young people in the community who may have been affected by adverse childhood experiences and mental health issues, and gives them a sense of belonging by means of fitness and boxing. |
D. Catherine looks wonderful here. I love the tailored coat with the pop of red in the accessories. She and P. William seem to work very well together don’t they? Both look relaxed, happy and engaged with those around them. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteSeems to have a deep love between them.
DeleteCatherine looks fantastic. That coat is beautiful. I like the fun scarf. I always enjoy seeing William on the more casual side, good look for him. They look to be enjoying themselves.

Die beiden machen bis jetzt alles richtig !!
ReplyDeleteShe is wonderful nice outfit coat dress, everything, she is also very friendly and happy , i thinks
ReplyDeleteMagnifique Kate dans ce joli manteau bleu-marine ; très belle touche de rouge de son petit foulard aux motifs blancs ainsi que de sa superbe pochette !
ReplyDeleteI like this outfit very much. Simple and unfussy. The scarf is such a nice and classy touch, I wish more ladies would go for one (instead of blouses with frilly collars, bows or weird designs). Also, I am thrilled to see someone wear a lower heel.
ReplyDeleteI think she looks fantastic, she shines when dressed age appropriate and contemporary. This coat is a classic, but modernly tailored, so it looks elegant and trendy at the same time, of course having her figure helps:-)
ReplyDeleteVery well paired with boots, pumps would have spoiled the effect. The Zara dress is a testimony of how low cost items can be combined with such taste to make them look like a million bucks. Love the whimsy scarf, and the hair out of her face. My only quibble is those ever present clutches, I like them with dressier outfits, but can't stand them on morning/business events, a small croosbody, or the never fail quilted channel would have been a hit.
Very very nice. Did not expect anything else.
ReplyDeletethe red dress seems to be very nice, but unfortunatly we don't see a good full-body-pic. Also didn't find one somewhere else.
ReplyDeleteDress, scarf and coat are lovely. Another great Zara outfit for the Duchess. Given the locations visited I understand that her usual smart shoes wouldn't have worked but I'm not too keen on the boots which look clumpy and not dissimilar to wellies. These two look so good together and look as if they are enjoying every minuter of this visit.
ReplyDeleteVery Patriotic colours;that during the winter are very nice to see;so much nicer than black. The U.K has a lot to look forward too Australian companies trading with the U.K;Kate and William are good brand ambassadors.
ReplyDeleteFantastic looking. The red dress sits so well on her frame.
ReplyDeleteIt must be hard to be interested in everything you see when you go on these visits!
I think she is great with children.
I don’t see them clumpy at all. Much more sensible and healthy for your feet than any high heels. And being a tall woman she doesn’ t need any extra height, especially when interacting with kids.

The coat is beautiful, teamed with the red dress, gorgeous. The boots and red scarf, I love, splash of colour, red excellent. The shade of red of her bag is lovely. The addition of simple pieces of jewellery was the perfect finishing touch.
ReplyDeleteThey both look very good. Picture perfect.
ReplyDeleteOn another note I would like to mention what an asset they are for the monarchy!!!
There is a short clip (in German) where one can see how genuine and caring they are:
