On February 12, 2020, The Duchess of Cambridge visited The Ark Open Farm in Newtownards, Northern Ireland. This visit is part of her Early Years Foundation Survey. Meeting with locals to expand the reach of her early childhood development survey, "5 Big Questions on the Under 5s," the duchess aims to hear the community's thoughts "on the most important factors that ensure children become happy adults." (The Duchess of Cambridge wore a gray knit turtleneck, black skinny jeans, a khaki Barbour jacket, and knee-high Penelope Chilver boots.) |
THat's much better than yesterday. I like her hair like this, this halfway down/up-do doesn't work for me. Frieda
ReplyDeleteThat could be a perfect outfit if only the jacket isn't so tight. The boots looks good. - Siri
ReplyDeleteComfortable dressing for a day on a farm. Nice interaction with the children and the animals.
ReplyDeleteTout l’ensemble déjà porté mais ce pull à col roulé de couleur bleue apporte une petite touche de couleur ; superbe le style de ses bottes longues... Nouvelles petites boucles d'oreilles ; j'aime beaucoup !
ReplyDeleteCatherine looks very outdoorsy in her boots, jeans and jacket. She becomes more endearing to me with each passing year. She seems naturally drawn to all she meets, and they to her. She is a credit to the royal family.
ReplyDeleteThe redhead is a beauty.
ReplyDeleteWow. That Llama in the first photo has better looking hair and style than some Royals that we occasionally see on this site, lol. Cute photo.
ReplyDeleteCatherine looks casual and comfortable on this visit.

True - great fun.
DeleteDuchess Kate loves her job
ReplyDeleteWait a minute are those skinny ripped between her thighs? It would be the first time she is wearing ripped jeans.
J
I don't think Catherine wears ripped jeans!
DeleteCatherine looks lovely and relaxed she has really grown into her role and love her outfit very appropriate.
ReplyDeleteThe Dss, looks very comfortable in this outfit. Nice interaction with the children and the animals. The little sheep is center stage and don't even know it.
ReplyDeleteBoth outfits look great. I love the jackets.
ReplyDeleteJ'espère que les Windsor se rendent compte à quel point ils ont eu la chance que Catherine accepte le job royal ; c'est de moins en moins évident ; elle est toujours parfaite
ReplyDeleteBravo to Kate for choosing two great, comfortable looks for the separate engagements today. I love the Barbour coat and Chilvers boots. We have seen them many times in the past. They are such a great classic staple to have and I would like to add it to my wardrobe. The dove grey coat and black boots are so chic and perfect for this second meeting.

She seems comfortable and relaxed, unlike yesterday. Always stressful to work with the in-laws, I suppose. Just a different outlook. Perhaps I can be convinced about this one time being alright to wear skinny jeans (and a size up would make it even better). First jacket is indeed too tight. The second as well, but because of the cut, less obvious. CH
ReplyDeleteWhat a great outfit to wear to the farm. Outdoorsy, yet still classy. And I like that the basics were the same for the 2 engagements, just a few pieces switched out. The blue/gray coat in the second pictures is beautiful.

Both jackets are a way too tight.
ReplyDeleteShe is technically a "commoner" but has more English blood than the Royal Family. The world loves her as well so they've put her in front of the cameras. Good move.
