ReplyDeleteSofia looks pretty but too summery, Silvia looks classy but her dress is too shiny, Victoria looks sharp but more business than theatre. And Estelle's dress wasn't a good choice at all. Too long, style and fabric too old for a young girl, the tights a mismatch and the pattern clashing with her mother's skirt.
The king and Daniel look great. I like the king's tie (interesting colour) and elegant suit.
Anyway, very nice to see the three generation attending an event together.

DeleteThe Queen is lovely and the dress is beautiful. And the King's outfit is perfection. Now what happened to Sophia? The outfit looks like a Cinderella tryout for kids. Her hair is lighter??
ReplyDeleteI would only save Victoria on this fashion disaster, but not by much, the skirt is OK, unless you are already exhausted by everything animal print, personally I am at that point, I only like it on some accessories ( scarves, shoes, handbags, belts, etc,.). The blouse is dressy enough to make it a little more formal, an outfit that will never be remembered. Sofia's outfit is a total disappointment, a wooly sweater, paired with a tulle skirt, and what appears to be an elastic band, these skirts are being worn by children these days, the shoes are just not good, satin platforms have been out of style for years. The Queen' s dress is too shiny and has a drape vibe, and the whitish, panty hose doesn't help.

DeleteIf I had to change into one of the three women for the time the event took, I would choose Victoria.
And I dare say on behalf of Estelle: Why, oh why do children always and forever have to wear white thights? Nicely knitted grey ones would have looked swedish and childlike.

ReplyDeleteQueen Silvia looks lovely, her pearl necklace and earrings are a perfect choice. I like the black shoes and clutch. I have to say the King looks really well attired, love his suit. Daniel as always looks very well groomed. CP Victoria's skirt and beautiful silk blouse look terrific, but maybe not a good choice for this event. Regardless I love this ensemble. I thought Pss Estelle looked delightful, she really has a beautiful smile.

DeleteI really enjoy the Swedish royal family. However, their fashions choices puzzle me. Sophie is wearing a summery outfit. The Queen has on a 1980's style dress/fabric, CP Victoria has on a 'day outfit', and little Estelle is sort of mismatched with a dress that looks odd with the white stockings.... JT

ReplyDeleteThe Queen looks beautiful as always and I love C.Princess Victoria's blouse and skirt- love that animal print skirt. Princess Sophia is so pretty in soft pink. So feminine. Love her hair. And little Princess Estelle is adorable. They all look GREAT!!
ReplyDeleteLe couple royal est bien élégant ; J'aime beaucoup la tenue de Victoria dont la jupe dans un joli imprimé.. Mignonne Estelle avec cette petite robe fleurie.. Sofia est ravissante avec ce haut rose poudré mais je ne suis pas fan de sa jupe qui est estivale ; je la préfère quand elle a les cheveux non éclaircis !

ReplyDeleteYou must have extremely sensitive eyes. What would hurt my eyes are homeless people in line at soup kitchens, displaced people living in cardboard boxes, people in third world countries suffering from aids, etc. You need to put your priorities in place.....PLEASE!!!

Estelle is a lovely little girl dressed for a night out with the grown ups. Victoria is just being Victoria - quite matronly. The Queen is elegant as always. The Men look very dapper

ReplyDeletePrincess Sofia looks the best for me. It is an occasion involving children so her outfit works to me. Love her hair. Don't like Shiny dress/suit on the queen and Victoria and prints is just same old same old really. Lovely occasion though. And nice to see them all out supporting this cause. Marie
ReplyDeleteWell ... the two gentlemen look all right, nothing to be said against their choices. The whole lot of the rest is disastrous. If animal print midi rock, then pretty please not a businesslike looking blouse with a big stiff collar. Silvia's dress is fine, but either shiny or popping color, both is too much. Sofia offers a total clash of styles and the colours do not complement either her or one another. The shoes fit well into the picture because they also do not harmonise with anything else she was wearing. Wow! :-)

I think everybody looks nice, maybe the Queen’s outfit is a bit too shiny, but she is the Queen, so it’s okay I think. I don’t like Sofia’s hair lately, I bet she does this hairstyle herself, with a flat iron. I don’t like it, a nice blow dry would be better, with some volume on top.
ReplyDeleteThey are all perfectly dressed considering the event! Victoria's fun leopard print, Sofia's princesslike dress and Silvia's shiny turquoise dress suit well the youthful event. Nice to see Estelle healthy again, too.
