The Duchess of Rothesay visited Banchory Sports Village

The Duchess of Rothesay visited and formally opened Banchory Sports Village in Aberdeenshire. The village is a new state-of-the-art facility from Aberdeenshire Council supported by community fundraising. The doors to the £8.5 million facility opened to the community in August last year. The Duchess toured the leisure facilities and met with community users taking part in various activities around the centre.

Hairstyle needs updating, and this coat is just not a good look with the odd patch type flounces on the hip area.

As you can see it was a windy day, called Brendan!
The colour of her hair is very good and makes her face softer.
On her clothes: she doesnot pretend to be anything other than herself: I value that very much.

Updating...she turns 73 years old in July, as the rest of "seniors" in Europe she might be better in her own style by now.

Her hair does not grow. It is always the same length with the same side "wings". Windy or not.

Updating, as in, cut, different length, the color is fine, the wind had nothing to do with the comment. The clothing comment was not directed at her personality, but on the fact, those flippy patches on the side of the coat do not look good, would not look good on any coat.

Love her coat. So thoughtful with the tartan cuffs and collar. She is in Scotland after all.

  3. Le col et les revers de poche de la même couleur que le manteau tout en gardant les gros boutons seraient plus chic ; un rafraîchissement de la coiffure lui irait beaucoup mieux !

Yes, except when she is in Scotland. There she is the Duchess of Rothesay, and the same goes for Charles, where he is known as the Duke of Rothesay. It is the Scottish way of addressing the heir to the British throne (since the early 1700s), so in a way the Scottish equivalent of The Prince of Wales.
When William becomes The Prince of Wales, it will be the same for him and Catherine.

Yes, but she also has a Scottish title: duchess of Rothesay. This event took place in Scotland.

  5. Although Camilla's coat looks a bit better unbuttoned, it is still not pretty, in my opinion. I understand that, when in Scotland, she wishes to honor the Scots with her fashion choices, but I think she could do better.

I like it very much. Very stylish details and for someone who is 70+ years old, she has maintained in good shape and graciously so.

I like this coat just not keen on the tartan collar and pockets. But it matches with her dress.
