The Countess of Wessex turned 55 today. On the occasion of the birthday, Buckingham Palace released a photo of the Countess on its official social media account. The Countess was born Sophie Helen Rhys-Jones on 20 January 1965 in Oxford. Sophie is married to Queen Elizabeth II’s youngest son, Prince Edward. The couple has two kids: Lady Louise Windsor and James Viscount Severn. |
A full-time working member of the Royal Family, The Countess of Wessex splits her time between her work in support of The Queen and visits to a large number of her own charities and organisations. She has a wide range of interests which include supporting people with disabilities, the prevention of blindness in developing countries, agriculture and fashion. Happy 55th birthday to the Countess of Wessex and Forfar. |
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Countess Sophie. What a perfect example of how to marry into the Royal family, learn from initial mistakes and then get on with the job earning the affection and respect of all royal supporters and the majority of the public at large. Thank you.

The Css of Wessex, is a fine example of quietly getting on with the job, the least amount of fuss and bother. She has wonderful work ethic. Happy Birthday.
ReplyDeleteSophie is British, therefore she was well aware of all the pomp and ceremony that unfortunately comes with marrying into the Firm.
