Today is January 23, 2020 and Princess Caroline of Hanover celebrates her 63rd birthday. Caroline, Princess of Hanover (Caroline Louise Marguerite; born on January 23, 1957), is the eldest child of Rainier III, Prince of Monaco, and American actress Grace Kelly. She is the elder sister of Prince Albert II and Princess Stephanie. |
Princess Caroline's first husband was Philippe Junot, a Parisian banker. The couple divorced, childless, on October 9, 1980. Her second husband was Stefano Casiraghi, who is the heir to an Italian industrial fortune. They got married in a civil ceremony in Monaco on December 29, 1983, and had three children, that is, Andrea Casiraghi, Charlotte Casiraghi and Pierre Casiraghi. Stefano Casiraghi passed away in a speed-boating accident in 1990, when he was at the age of 30. |
Princess Caroline's third and current husband is Prince Ernst August of Hanover, Duke of Brunswick, head of the House of Hanover which lost its throne in 1866. The couple have one daughter, Princess Alexandra of Hanover. In 2009, Caroline separated from Ernst August. Princess Caroline's residence is the Villa Clos St Pierre in Monaco-ville where she lives with her youngest child, Princess Alexandra of Hanover. Happy birthday to you, Princess Caroline! |
Caroline - a classic beauty!
ReplyDeletePrincess Caroline looks lovely in the deep pink velvet gown in the first picture. Her matching earrings are beautiful. In the second picture, she looks very "hip" with the black jacket (coat?) which might be leather. The long necklaces play well against the black background. Princess Alexandra looks very demure and very pretty. Happy Birthday, Princess Caroline!
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely photos of her. I don’t always like her fashion choices (some of the Lagerfeld outfits were downright wacky), but she always carries herself with such elegance and grace. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteTrès belle femme pour son âge qui sait s'habiller avec souvent une touche plus moderne ou rock.. Souhaitons-lui que son anniversaire soit des plus heureux !

ReplyDeleteCaroline looks lovely here. Maybe it's me, but I'm so happy to see the Monaco royals looking content and peaceful. So many pictures of them in the past they seemed troubled and sad. Caroline's daughter is awfully cute. I think she was a skater.
She is s very beautiful and demure Princess, full of class, dignity and style. A natural beauty.
ReplyDeleteAlways in style, great look. Also a happy 63rd Birthday to the Pss of Hanover.
ReplyDeleteAs far as I know Alexandra is studying away from Monaco so only stays with her mother during vacations.

Happy Birthday PRINCESS CAROLINE LINDA from St.Paul,MN
ReplyDeleteStunning and glamorous as always. She can teach a masterclass in chicness.
ReplyDeleteMay 63rd Birthday of Princess Caroline of Monaco be blessed with peace and love.
ReplyDeleteThe perfect example of the fact that "work" is not necessary to remain classically elegant and beautiful as one gets older. Happy birthday, Princess Caroline.
ReplyDeleteExactly. Her natural beauty shines through. Only A Americans are obsessed with eternal youthfulness and end up looking like store mannequins!
DeleteRenee, your comment is a perfect example of how you can phrase a sentence to show your disdain for en entire country with your biased information. Americans aren't the ONLY people obsessed with eternal youth.
DeleteCaroline: If you look at the most recent picture, with her daughter, one could say that she has had a very well done fillers around her cheeks and lips. Lips that were very damaged from sun and smoking.
Charlene: Hardly recognizable.
Rania : Nose, lips, cheeks fillers and Botox.
Letizia, Nose, and fillers.
Silvia: lips, and fillers.
Stephanie: just went thru a total tune-up.
If you were to open an European magazine, you could see that most of the actresses, TV, personalities, politicians & social butterflies have had work done, just as much as Americans.
So the truth is that many, many people with financial means are getting treatments, whether drastic or subtle, to remain younger, to state otherwise is just not true.
Obviously, you are prejudiced against us, but your argument, as often happens with xenophobia is not accurate.
I honestly want to wish a good day, regardless of were you were born.
An untrue and unnecessary comment about Americans.
DeleteCherry Blossom: well said!
DeleteMay I add:
Maxima: eyes, teeth, cheeks, fillers
Mary: chin, cheeks, fillers
Mrs Macron: teeth, face lift
Even “normal” people in the Netherlands more and more turn to procedures to improve their looks, and if done well, why not?

Wow, 63; I remember when Caroline was born. I was still living in the USA, the TV weatherman said "It will be a little Rainier in Monaco in January." Haha. ~Rose~
ReplyDeleteRose: what a great comment! You are right, time is flying...
DeleteHappy Birthday to Caroline, still my Icon. What a life, in every sense of the word. Respect!
Happy Birthday to Princess Caroline, a beautiful lady.
ReplyDeleteShe‘s classy and smart!
ReplyDeleteNot that smart by judging the choice in husbands #1 and #.3.
ReplyDeleteI remember 17 magazine featuring her when she was about 16 she was stunningly beautiful then as she still is. However, Americans are not the only people obsessed with aging. For some it is vital their livelihood depends on it for others they cannot get it that keeping natural beauty is best. I am 65 if the time came where I could get a little help its ok. But to ruin your looks with unnatural fillers, botox is just awful talk about ruining your face! I can think of at least 5 famous women who ruined their faces putting that junk in them. You have to get a good doctor who is conservative with the fake chemicals. Keep it light ladies you only make it worse with that fake garbage. I do not have many wrinkles but I do NOT go out in the sun without SPF 30 and up. I do not smoke, drink or go into smoky bars it makes a huge difference. tlo
